i ordered chow mein expecting noodles and i was given chicken and celery in a pool sauce with a package of crispy chow mein snack pieces. and on the website it says the meal is $8.75 when in actuality it is $11.50, $12.32 with tax. the wontons were also overcooked and chicken was bland, not even a trace of salt at the minimum. i would give negative stars if i could.

They offer nice standard A little American style Chinese food. It is good! Specially the tofu desert is amazing! I will like to go there just for that! Keep the Chinese food in a Chinese style is important.

Usually a good experience and I’ll post. But when we drive 15 minutes to pick up our order only to get home and one meal is missing it deserves a negative review. It wouldn’t have been the worst but when I called to inform them they initially tried to tell me I never ordered the chicken fried rice. I was looking at my receipt then and he said hold on. Then tells me oh I wasn’t paying attention. So we drive back 15 minutes. By the time we finally had our complete dinner for everyone and ate the food it was now cold and we wasted two round trips. There is no excuse not to check on order and make sure everything is included. It would have taken 30 second. Our time – 30 minutes! Never an apology. And he hung up on me too.

I have never had a bad meal here. I work in the strip mall where they are located and I love the chicken fried rice, especially, and have also had several other options from the menu. Always fresh tasting and reasonably priced. I love the convenience to my office, as well. I eat here at least once every couple of weeks.

We have enjoyed this restaurant for years, but then in the past couple of years, they kept missing items in our order, then started charging so much more for extra little things, but tonight topped it off…we will never go back… there was an ant on our Pot Stickers! Gross!! They didn’t even apologize!! They just said not to be angry- they’ll make us new ones! This was after I did the online order and picked it up, checked the order in the car for sauces and was already missing one, then when got home realized we were missing the Pot Stickers sauce as well, opened up the Pot Stickers and saw this….SO NASTY! BTW…the replacement Pot Stickers were SO undercooked…Nasty!! Don’t go there!!

I will start this by saying I remember when they used to be called Little Walk and then changed to Lai Wah. I grew up in the area and the food was always good and a good deal for the price. As I read the reviews now, it makes me sad because it is not the Lai Wai I grew up with. The original owners sold the restaurant to one of their chefs and everything changed. I can’t remember if it was Lai or Wah that died shortly before the sale, but the new owners are a far cry from what the place used to be.

We ordered for delivery tonight. We received 1 of 3 egg rolls ordered, broccoli was incredibly mushy, wontons were significantly overcooked and portions were tiny in comparison to their many competitors in this area. There are MANY restaurants with nearly identical menus in the South Metro. Order from a different one and chances are high you’d be happier.

Best in Apple Valley. Have loved this place since the 1980s. Lo Mein noodles are better than you have had anywhere else.

Definitely not great. The cream cheese wontons were hard, and the order we picked up either wasn’t supposed to be ours or was vastly different from how it was described on the menu/at other Chinese restaurants. It’s not that it was bad necessarily, but definitely not what I was expecting to get. Also extremely overpriced.

Positively revolting. I ordered sweet and sour chicken through door dash. They brought me chicken with one piece of smooshed pineapple and sauce. No green peppers no pineapple. Just dipping sauce. I had not eaten all day. I was and am livid. This place should be shut down. The puffs were gross and their sauce is bland. Please don’t waste your money. Even with covid you could eat dirt and it would be better.
