So the food wasn’t bad. But it was spicy at all. Maybe this spot would be good for African Americans for their first try. But not spicy for us Nigerians. Maybe I should’ve asked for it to be spicy. But overall it’s good. The jollof was bland. But pounded yam and egusi was good but sweet.

I don’t like giving bad rating but this experience was horrible. They kept us waiting for more than 30minutes, going back and forth asking us to relate our orders. I couldn’t believe the lady picking on top of our food as she serve. And worse, everything over priced and servings not worth it. I love African food and restaurants but this gotta do way better. Also, the pictures on the menu were quite impressive but what we got served was a big mess and far inferior.

Ordered efo riro with assorted meat and pounded yam and they did not disappoint!! Great price and nice portions! Everything was so delicious and delectable, also there wasn’t so much spice that it wasn’t enjoyable, full flavor instead of excessive pepper, left happily with a full belly, definitely order from here!!

Horrible! Horrible! I wish I could rate one star. The man serving me was horrible and their food was enough to feed a 1 year old. Tiny peeper soup with only liver instead of assorted meat. Rice had no taste and suya was nothing to write home about. My husband said the pepper soup tasted like water down meat stock. The server was sighing and banging doors while serving. He was extremely rude! Never going back!! Worst restaurant ever!

The food taste as charcoal, it was burnt. Customer service extremely poor. The woman at the counter was very rude. They don’t even deserve a single star.

Terrible place. I just went there today to eat jollof rice . The rice was burnt, fried plantains fried black and not well cooked. Workers are rude and dirty. Just wasted my time traveling from Manhattan to Newark to eat trash

I am not sure if this place exactly Nigerian cuisine but looks good. It has a great menu with well-known casual American menu items. Place is amazing! it’s small. It has such a great design and vibe! Staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. Music is no too loud. It’s not crowded. Just a couple things to consider. Double check what is considered being a happy hour drink before you order it. Also, salmon burger wasn’t good. We had fish tacos and fried calamari. That stuff was tasty
