I ordered through Uber Eats and loved everything. I got rice and vegetables, mac and cheese, spicy shrimp, and the strawberry shortcake. The cake was ok, but they come from a bakery. And the food could have been packed better in the bag.

i ordered the jerk chicken and salmon pasta and it was so good! it wasn’t dry at all. very well flavored and came very fast. (i ordered through door dash) i have did a pickup order in the past. i ordered the salmon, shrimp and jerk chicken with yellow rice. it was good in taste but texture wise, the rice was kinda hard and the shrimp shells were kinda difficult to peel off but everything else was good. great customer service too. i’ve already recommended this spot to my family and friends!

Ordered for pickup, didn’t wait long & food was hot and ready upon arrival. Saw that were a few sit down options. Place looked clean & kept. Amazing price for the serving size given. Got the blackened salmon platter (comes on top of a hefty serving of their yellow rice) and the whiting platter (comes on top a serving of fries). Tried the candied yams, yellow rice & spinach. Candied yams had the right texture and sweetness, wasn’t watery or too smooth. Spinach was light and well cooked, not over cooked like how some spinach is. Only problem in my to-go order was a small oil spill from the spinach. Everything was flavourful and balanced without being too heavy handed on the salt. The yellow rice is better than you think, not just regular yellow turmeric rice. Somewhere between an African dry rice and a fried rice almost. Loved all of it, can’t wait to try the Upper Darby location.

Update… food is still good but wish we wouldn’t have to keep waiting so long for the food. We continue to come back because it is good. Please peel the shrimp for some of the dishes & season the shrimp that way, cut up the onions, especially in the salads.

My first experience was a good one. My fish was fried to perfection and my corn was superb. The wait was a tad bit longer than anticipated but not enough to complain about. This will probably be my new goto spot.

Bad experience on Uber Eats with wrong order delivered twice. The shrimp in the shrimp Alfredo should be pilled and spaghetti noodles is beyond me ( in my OPINION) and my second time my food was undercooked, badly packaged, and very oily. Plus my order was missing items. Bad experience in store, wait time was hitting 90 mins. A lot of yelling, rushing and understaffed, all for me to get sick from the food a few hours later. Customer service was okay, very apologetic but it was still an all around unacceptable experience. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS RESTAURANT ON NO SITE! You will be disappointed because the apps will not help with the merchant issues and will not issue a refund. Third times a charm for me, Take care.

We tried this place after reading the reviews. After going through the menu, I noticed shrimp entrees with shells still on them. I called to confirm, and that was the case. I had never heard of shrimp alfredo with peel-and-eat shrimp. That was flag #1. That flag didn’t raise my antenna, so we ordered three fried fish entrees. The food arrived, and it appeared that the bag had fallen over. Everything was pushed to one side. The fish and fries were now soaked in vegetable juice. Who wants soggy fish and fries? No one! And for that, they get one star. I can’t tell you how good the fish and fries were because they were wet. I wanted to enjoy the entire entree, and that I could not do. If a restaurant is too lazy to peel the shrimp placed on pasta, go elsewhere.

I love Lagos salmon cheese steak, and their Cajun salmon fries. They are respectful they are polite they greet you every time you walk in their door. I drive miles to get their food in Sharon hill and in upper Darby I love 5 minutes from Delaware. It’s finger licking good and I would definitely eat their food every day over a lot of these other stores out here.
