We parked here for a concert, but decided to have a couple drinks and some food, too. Glad we did…this has a very old-school, classic New England “tavern” feel (we were in the bar area), with solid pub food, a good selection of beer, sports on the TV, a nice patio area and friendly, VERY Mass-accented waitstaff. Nothing fancy, but definitely fits the bill for a hearty pre- or post-show meal.

Read other 1 star reviews. The husband and wife owners are 2 of the most miserable human beings you’ll ever meet. DON’T GO HERE and absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I’m not alone saying this if you read other reviews. Go to one of the other 500 restaurants in the area and definitely skip this place. I hope they go out of business and someone else buys it. On top of it they use their parking lot for Gillette events and made the mistake of parking here for the Bruce Springsteen concert. The owner is the head person directing cars where to park and he literally screams at drivers for nothing because he’s so miserable. Everyone got out of their cars commenting on how rude he is and will never park there again. Please boycott this place and teach the owner a lesson to not treat customers so poorly.

I never had a chance to eat here after the host called at 8:30AM on Mothers Day to cancel my Saturday night reservation. He was incredibly rude, telling me my reservation was illegal without paying for parking. Absolutely disgraceful. I don’t have a car after it was stolen from the Walpole Mall, so I was going to take an Uber. When I politely tried to explain this, the host told me “not to talk back” and to treat him with the same respect I would my father. My dad was the one that stole my car!!

I never ate here! Made a reservation online, drove there and was told ‘you have a reservation for a seat but not parking” NO WHERE on the website does it tell you how to make a parking reservation on the night of an event.

I can’t say enough good about our experience here. When I made the reservation the owner called me to be sure I understood about traffic and parking. She gave me directions to make it easy for us to get here and park for our event. We got here and were greeted with a hug. The service was excellent and the food was perfect! I will be back for every stadium event.

The Lafayette House is an old friend to our family. Grandparents lived in Foxboro so we went here often.

My mother just passed away and my wife and I were scrambling try to find a place to accommodate our family for a collation after the funeral. Ron Young could not have been more rude and unkind. STAY AWAY. There are plenty of restaurants owned by people who treat others the right way.

Went for Easter brunch. Food was ok but not worth the money, it seemed like a lot of store bought food with only the omelettes being made on site. Cool building though.

Recently I reached out to The Lafayette house to see what they offered for a funeral reception. I wanted a nice place where friends and family members could come together to celebrate and rem the life of my father immediately after his funeral service. I spoke with Ron Young that explained the process and pricing. I am so glad that I reached out to Ron. We couldn’t have had a better send off for my father. All the guests were greeted with a warm reception by the staff at the Lafayette house. This restaurant has a historical uniqueness like no other. The buffet prepared by the chef was top notch. When it comes to food I can be a sharp critic and I can honestly say that there was nothing to critique instead only tk give the Chef a compliment and tell him I would be back for dinner in the near future. Many thanks to Ron and his staff for providing a wonderful experience in my family’s time of mourn.
