What an awesome find in Tampa! My new favorite place! The staff is very friendly and greet you when you walk in. Such a cute and chill vibe with all the unique decor and sayings. I had the chocolate croissant and the drink of the month Coco Loco cold brew. They were delicious and even came with a flamingo straw to make my mundane day fun again! This is a definite spot to come and hang out or bring your friends/family. There is free parking in the garage behind the shop if you can’t find street parking.

The service leaves much to be desired. For a new place in Hyde park, you would expect the service to be top notch. You’re competing with Oxford Exchange no less. Blonde cashier was friendly, but when I asked them to heat up my croissant because it was cold and hard, the brunette girl looked at me with a face and did not communicate at all. I asked politely, so not sure what went wrong. Either way, these tiny details all make up the overall experience. The croissant is store bought or possibly bought frozen and “baked” in store, so if you’re not going to have amazing food, at-least have amazing service. Latte was okay. It was not as hot as I’m used to. There isn’t really a consistent design or theme for the decor other than pillows with millennial sayings / quotes on them. I think the prices are fair given this day and age. Overall, I would not return. There are much better places in terms of service, ambiance and food/coffee. But I hope they can make some improvements to the service if nothing else.

Stopped into this adorable coffee shop after having brunch at Oxford Exchange. The decor is cute and charming. I had the coffee of the month, I think it was a coconut something but it was delish. It’s always nice to support a small business and not corporate coffee chains. Next time I’m in the area I’ll certainly stop back in.

We loved everything about this coffeeshop! The ambiance is quiet enough to work in, but lively enough to sit and interact in. The staff was extremely welcoming, fast making orders, and helpful with any questions. Will be returning!

Enjoyed a delicious panini that was ready quick, and the drinks were delicious. I had a caramel iced latte with oat milk, it was perfect and a good size. It’s a little pricey, but that’s kind of just how it is at cafes these days. I love the decor, very fun, natural and unique. If I lived around here, I’d come to Lady and the Mug often!

First of all, I absolutely LOVE this little spot! The overall vibe there is amazing. Its a great place to go catch up with friends OR stop to have a coffee and do some work! I’ve been here multiple times thus far and have no complaints! Their croissants are seriously amazing… and their chai. The staff is always super happy and willing to give recommendations on drinks!

Coffee came in a mug with a design and tasted great. Their mother clucker was upside down so I turned it right-side up to find out it was cut badly (thus why it’s called the BAD mother clucker). Music pretty loud for a morning coffee shop.

We wanted to go to the Oxford exchange but it had a long wait so we decided to check this place out. Pleasantly surprised by this place and very happy that Oxford was full because this place was amazing. The food and coffee are delicious, especially the chai tea latte! The environment is cute and comfy so it was a very nice breakfast here. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the lady who I think was the manager was attentive and extremely nice and welcoming. This place is a 10/10 for breakfast, we loved it!❤️

The service was great. The staff were friendly and my order was prepared quickly. My oat milk cappuccino was not good. It lacked flavor and the foam was not done very well. It was also very hot. I was happy to see that they had many vegan food options, but nothing I tried was particularly good. I don’t think I’ll be back. Buddy Brew is right across the street, and they make a much better cappuccino.
