Everything about this place was excellent, we had the Italian meat pizza and mozzarella sticks and it was very good. We will be back to try other foods. We look forward to sharing La Trattoria with our out of state family. 7/22/23 update I got the chicken fettuccine alfredo for the third time and I am convinced they have the best of anywhere I have ever been.

I will start by saying that my husband and I are new residents of Winchester. We saw LA Trattoria on the map and read reviews, and I even messaged them on FB to find out if they had GF options to accommodate my intolerance. To my surprise, they have pasta and pizza options. We decided to give it a tru and we were so glad we did. We both had pizza. The GF crust was the best crust I have had, ever. I also had a delicious margarita! We will be back. In fact, I won’t hesitate to order and pick up a GF pizza when I’m craving one.

This was our first time here. I didn’t even know about it! Super delicious, great portions, hot food, great service! Super happy to find a restaurant that we will go back to for sure as a regular! What a great find! Traveling from Iowa to Virginia we stopped in Winchester, Ky to spend the night. Based on Google reviews we gave La Trattoria a chance. So glad we did. Excellent service from Olivia with terrific food starting with the bruschetta. Best bruschetta I’ve had, and I’ve had plenty. The fettuccine Alfredo was great. Others in my party had pasta primavera, eggplant parmesan and shrimp scampi. Rave reviews all around. If you’re looking for a place to eat in Winchester I highly recommend La Trattoria!

Had brunch last weekend. I ordered pizza and shared. Amazing pizza, red sauce, meatballs. Went back today for more pizza and meatballs. I think because of the well selected and quality toppings it’s actually better than highly rated places in Lexington. Not the greatest photo.

Extremely disappointed, nothing about this place is authentic or Italian in any way. Started with mozzarella sticks, same frozen from the bag kind you get from the store, over cooked so the cheese burst out of them. Ordered the Chicken Parmigiano and the roasted salmon. The chicken was clearly not fresh, it wasn’t even a whole piece, it came pre sliced like from a deli bag and placed together to appear as one piece. The salmon was mediocre but not nearly as bad as the chicken. Oh and we waited over 45 minutes for this food, with five other tables in the restaurant. Also with0 the open kitchen we could watch all the employees without their hair pulled back or secured preparing food. I understand not expecting the best from winchester, but this was definitely the worst.

I ordered a Cesear salad and Chicken Alfredo to go. The salad was portioned small as a to-go, but in the restaurant they are big salads. The house Cesear dressing was to die for. The best crafted dressing I have ever ate. I could eat it by the spoonful’s and still not have enough. It packs so much flavor and was creamy, and thick. The alfredo was so tender, the sauce wasn’t over seasoned and had an authentic flavor as well. The chicken was amazing. It had so much flavor packed into it and was cut and ready to go. The breadstick that came with the meal was fresh, and tasty as well. I would highly recommend La Trattoria to anyone in the Winchester area. 10/10. Will for sure eat here again, and again.

Food excellent as always. Food service to table was a little slow, but we did come in only an hour before closing. Staff was friendly and helpful, quite responsive when needed without being obtrusive. A little on the cold side, temp wise.

Great place for food and quality service. Enjoy family conversation or watch sports on the two flat screens. Table seating and bar seating available. Plenty of menu options for any age. Street has plenty of free curbside parking with plenty of area shops nearby to visit as well.
