Our family really enjoyed this restaurant. The service was great, they were friendly and fast, responsive to requests. The nachos were loaded with toppings and everything we ordered was very good. No wait, easy parking, and a great atmosphere. We would come back next time we’re in the area!

The waitress Carla dropped the hot chicken water that the chef pit on the nachos. She apologized and as a courtesy we obviously thought she would take the plate off the bill or not even that but the thing is she did not brought the correct , food , she talk back at be saying I was wrong and I asked for the menu to showed her. I WAS RIGTH! NACHOS SUPREMOS does come with fried beans. Then we ask for another refill of the sour cream and Pico de gallo that comes with the quesadilla plate, she charge us each individual (side) x3 . The food was delightful. The presentation is weak. The moral is that please be conscious of how you treat your customers if you want them back. * The manager didn’t know about the situation. we told her she was very nice and took the plate off the bill. And the extra extra …. side Carla charge us. . Sadly, the restaurant is a bo for me. BtW this was my date night. What a mess!

This place and Taco Mexicali are our go to Mexican restaurants in town. The prices are good, there are a ton of options, and we’ve never once had a wait. When my wife’s gets a little stuffy, the pozole always helps clean out the sinuses 🙂

The tacos were my favorite, if you like extra spicy salsa, just ask. Beer on tap, and a full bar for margaritas or other mixed drinks. Burritos were good, especially the California burrito. Being from California having a good burrito is a must. Refried beans and chips were served; service was good!

This place was amazing. Within a minute of sitting down our server had chips and salsa on the table. Another couple of minutes and our drinks were on the table and our order taken. Everyone greeted us with a smile and they genuinely seemed happy to be there.

Ordered for pick up and specifically asked for camarones a la diabla and got camarones al mojo de ajo . I called and they said they’d give me a sauce but I preferred to get it remade , they said they would . when my husband went back they basically just transferred food to a different plate and didn’t change a thing and when I called to tell them they gave me the same thing again she said she didn’t know what to tell me that the color of the chipotle sauce must’ve been different this time because she didn’t have an answer as to why it had absolutely no spice and no chipotle flavor as camarones a la diabla are supposed to !! these are supposed to be camarones a la diabla lol nothing compared to their pictures NOT authentic Mexican food AT ALL

We always love the food here! Whenever we are in town, eating here is a must. The service was ok, the waitress wasn’t great but I don’t usually have that problem so maybe today was an off day. That being said, I highly recommend La Tolteca!
