So good! We stopped for a break from water country USA and the food was amazing. Only 5 minute drive. We tried 2 different enchiladas and a burrito between my husband and 3 kids. Everyone loved it. The only request I would have is better service for water/chip refills. No one came by to refill water.

The food, customer service, and atmosphere has been great all the years I’ve been going. While not a 5 star in anything I feel a solid 4.5 stars would be a fair assessment on food quality alone. Not the best you have ever eaten but very good. Hard to beat even. Especially for the low prices. Overall a very positive experience.

Delicious and great portions of food. My mom and I had the taquitos mexicanos. We loved how crispy they were. And the guacamole was spicy so there was a kick when we dipped the taquitos in it. So if you like spicy, you’ll love it.

We went here for dinner after a day at Bush Gardens. Ordered out food before leaving the parking lot. Food was ready when promised. Upon entering, it was greater by friendly staff and noticed that the atmosphere for dining was amazing,warm, and welcoming. Food was hot and fresh with authentic taste. All the food was delicious and there is large portions given. Would definitely be going back when in the Williamsburg area for mexican food.

Authentic Mexican food… chips and salsa were delicious. My husband and I shared the Texas fajitas. Perfectly portioned for two. Hot fresh tortillas…our son ate every bite of his kids cheese quesadilla. Small, quaint restaurant, and the server was attentive and friendly. We will be back!

Coming from San Antonio, TX, you expect a good Mexican restaurant. This restaurant does a really nice job of meeting those expectations. The chips that were served were really good and authentic, but I think the salsa could use quite a bit more kick. It tasted more like Pace from the grocery store, but that seems to be typical in this area. My meal was very delicious and the atmosphere felt like my typical visits to Mexican restaurants.

Went to the restaurant with my family and loved the outdoor dining option. I was not impressed with the quality of the food. The chips brought out in the beginning were wonderful but the salsa did not taste authentic like it was from a jar. The rice and beans for many meals was hard and had no flavor as if it was microwaved. The shrimp in the enchiladas tasted like they were frozen shrimp at some point and not fresh. The cheese quesadilla was very oily, and did not taste good. The pizza for my children was microwaved, and not fresh it came out within minutes after ordering. My children enjoyed the, root beer, and the flan. The churros that were ordered were doughy on the inside. All the tortillas did not taste fresh. The corn tortillas for the tacos were store bought and not authentic. The waiter was nice but the bus boy came out and felt like we were rushed to leave the restaurant. Pricing is expensive for the value of food. Paid over 100 dollars and will not be back I’m sorry.

La Tolteca is advertised as a little restaurant with a big menu, and it is! The decor is colorful, and service is good. The food is delicious, and portions are very generous. The Arizona Quesadilla was served with delicious guacamole and was huge! Their salsa is excellent too.
