Casual Mexican eatery in Lakewood very close to the American Lake beach. You order at the register before finding a seat/ table for yourself and then the workers will bring your food out. plate dishes are really big. The food was pretty good and came out fast. Didn’t like that you have to pay for chips and salsa, and the salsa is really spicy. Overall, okay place. They have a nice outdoor patio area.

We were in the area and This was a great choice! The food came out quick and hot. Everything was made to order. The Aguas frescas were refreshing. The chips and salsa were an amazing touch. Definitely check this place out. The handmade quesadilla was huge!

I had the tacos with carnitas pork. It was very good and very simple. Price was reasonable, so I got a couple of Margaretas. All around it was good, I will come back

First time here, got a to-go order and besides the food being bland, my wife’s enchiladas had a shard of metal in it. I don’t even want to finish my tacos after she bit down on it. Luckily it didn’t hurt her. Tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered. For the chicken enchiladas and asada tacos we spent $32 and in all honesty we’ve spent less at food trucks for better quality food. Very disappointed.

For sure, the best place in the area for mexican craving they make the best piña colada and the mar y tierra plate. One of our favorites highly recommended good prices, good food, and good customer service.

I ordered the chili Colorado to go and this is the size of the portion I got barley any thing but beans and rice. The quantity of it is a bad joke! Food was also very bland and mostly fat. I WON’T be going back

The food was delicious . I am so glad I found this place. All I did was follow the taco sign. I ordered the chilaquiles rojos with meat and 2 eggs. This is the first place I’ve orejas from that has the option of red, green, or habanero chilaquiles. The saber to the food is authentic Mexican food. Props to the chef. Auga de Limón . Muy bueno. me recuerda de mi ranchito.

Best salsa that I have ever had. Great if you like a little spice. Go for the guac if you prefer milder. And it’s all fresh! The staff was friendly. Their new deck for outdoor seating is lovely. Bound to be a familiar favorite.

The only thing is that the chips, salsa, guacamole was 7.50. Water is 3.50. Our lunch was still under 40 dollars with the tip.But the food was pretty good and the server was very nice and attentive. We didn’t mind paying for a delicious lunch!
