I’ve heard all the great reviews of this quaint authentic Italian restaurant. When I finally had this culinary experience, it did not disappoint. Recommend the garlic knots/rolls for an appetizer. One of the few remaining places where you can also find veal on the menu. As others have mentioned, seating is tight. Get here early or make an appointment

This place was recommended by others to try while traveling in the area. Small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant in an older part of downtown. Seating is very limited here. Luckily I didn’t really have to wait on the day I stopped. The fettuccine alfredo with chicken was good. I expected it to have a little more flavor. The chicken was bland. They do give you a LOT of alfredo sauce, which is a nice change from most other restaurants. The side salad was okay. The waitress was fantastic!!! Super friendly and always checking in. GREAT service!

Been here several times and it’s always a positive experience. The food and service has always been good. Prices are reasonable. In our most recent dining experience here I had the shrimp scampi which was very good. The menu is large and varied. I always order something different. Seating is limited so reservations are reccomended.

Lunch w the salon owner I work for & coworker, party of 3. It’s a small dining room but the 1st waitress told us we had to wait for a table, while we waited I observed 2 tables for 2 empty and 2 4 top tables w only 1 person seated there & 2 at other table. I even offered to squeeze in at a 2 top table, and the waitress said the owner said no, we couldn’t do that! Luckily

Unless you have a skilled Italian friend, you’ll be hard pressed to find Sicilian/Sicilian American food as good as this around the area! The stromboli is big enough to feed two people and the flavor is absolutely impeccable! If you’re a dessert lover or just a fan of a good cannolo, this is the place for you! The cannoli are very nicely sized and piped fresh upon ordering so you can enjoy the delicious crispy shell. The restaurant itself is small but makes for a great quiet intimate evening or a nice place to have a small family gathering. Make a reservation if you plan on eating in! I highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious Italian food in the area!Mangiare bene ❤️

We visited a friend in town and she made a reservation here for the three of us. We arrived a few minutes early and had to wait just a bit for our table. The restaurant has a few two-tops, several four-tops, and one eight-top. It was well worth the wait! Our friend ordered an appetizer of Pesto Garlic bread and it was awesome! All our entrees were excellent, and we got boxes for leftovers so there was room for dessert. The tiramisu was so good, I got another piece to go!

2-22-23 we had walked in without a reservation and the young lady that greeted us was kind enough to fit us in. She was very nice and made us feel comfortable. Very nice restaurant and great food. The salads were nice and fresh and the blue cheese dressing was spectacular. If you try their menu, order the garlic knots with Alfredo dipping sauce they had a nice buttery flavor. The red sauce for the pasta was very fresh and tasty. The rosemary chicken was a delight. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through town as we were. If you’re a local you have a wonderful touch of Italy in your backyard. La Tavola has a amazing staff and chefs with great quality of food and service Michael Even

Have heard many good things from others about this place, so I decided to try it out for myself. If eating here for dinner, be sure to call ahead for reservations. On street easy parking leads to a small, refined restaurant inside. Polite and attentive staff with a broad, authentic Italian menu. The pizza I got was good, and the portions are enormous. The fettuccine Alfredo was also tasty. Garlic knots for an appetizer are good but heavy, and fill you up quickly before you begin dinner. Will try one of the pastas next time and am looking forward to having dessert as well (esp. Tiramasu). The lunch menu looks inviting for another option to eat here as well.
