We love this place ! The food is always awesome, the servers are always nice and caring and it us a beautiful restaurant whether you eat inside or out. We truly love this place ♡ we ate outside on a random weekday night and had our 7 year old with us, we sat next to another family and the children immediately made friends and were interacting … they didn’t bother anyone and the staff was super friendly about it, truth be told it almost felt like a dinner at Disney ♡♡♡ my kiddo got a few bug bites and the waitress brought bug spray out for us! They truly went above and beyond and personally I think the calamari and baked claims are some of the best on long island !!

Just dined there tonight (8/22/23). Hostess was incredibly nice and sweet and a great first impression of the restaurant. I asked to be seated outside, atmosphere was great, the bus boy quickly greeted me with water and was a very nice guy, an our server shortly came over gave recommendations an was beyond attentive, nice, sweet and professional (I wish I remembered their names for this). An the food was great. First time dining here, I came because I’ve heard great things. I will 100% come back again.

Fabulous service and atmosphere. Always dependable for a lovely evening, friendly servers and bartenders, and a warm welcome. I especially enjoy the outdoor seating. Food is good quality, but I wish more vegan options were available

The was the second time I’ve been here. This time we brought the family and everything was delicious. The bread, olive oil, specialty drinks, appetizers, main course, sides and dessert was beautifully presented and was so favorite with such a high quality ingredients. Will definitely return again and try something new, because so far everyone I’ve had, I haven’t been disappointed!

Service was terrible… it seemed as if the place was run by children. We were there on a Sunday and it was not packed. We had to continuously flag down waitstaff for drinks, water and bread. Very frustrating and this can really ruin the experience of a restaurant. They were also only offering a prix fixe menu which is not for everyone. It would have been nice if they had advised this before taking our reservation of 9. The prix fixe was expensive for what it was. Calamari was overcooked. They had a wine specials menu on the table but couldn’t offer any of those bottles, which seems convenient. Pasta dish was good but kind of hard to mess that up. I could see maybe going back and sitting at the bar as a couple but would not go back with a large group again.

Can’t thank our Server, Kelly, enough for great service last night. She was so professional, attentive and so much fun. She made our visit so enjoyable. The food was great! Can’t wait to come back. See you all soon. Thank you for having Southern Comfort at the bar!!!

Being Italian, this restaurant was not what we expected. We ordered Sangrias. They were quite good. It was happy hour. Posted everywhere were drink prices for happy hour. We were charged full price. When questioned, we were told it was only happy hour on weekend. We told manager that it was not what was posted on their video menu. Then the story changed to only when served at the bar. We said that it was shown as in house and we were in house. Plus our Margherita pizza was clearly the chef’s choice but it was not Margherita pizza as served in Naples, Italy where it was born, so to speak. Anyway, they should change how their menus, paper and video, read. In house means eating and drinking at the bar only for happy hour. Not impressed with La Tavola.

Once again, I am reminded why I stay away from chain restaurants… because the local, one of a kind is so refreshing and enjoyable. From the friendliness of the wait staff to the truly different menu offerings, you will be happy and well satisfied with a meal at La Tavola! A friendly and well portioned Caesar’s salad and a Refreshing Lobster BLT..very nice!
