This is a hidden little treasure. We were on our way to Lincoln city and saw the highway sign so we followed. We were not disappointed the food and the margaritas were amazing. We are very pleased we came across this little restaurant.

Food is good HOWEVER DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING EVERYTIME!! Last 3 times I’ve ordered take out the orders have been wrong. AND Very little care or effort was taken to make it right or corrected when brought to their attention. I get things happen and I’m not a stickler by any means when things get missed life happens after all but it’d be nice if you could be made felt like you are cared about or something when an item is missing or there is an issue at hand ♀️

I opened the door and it was nice and lite and since I walk using a walker that is a great thing! So, kudos to La Sierra Mexican Restaurant for being handicap friendly they even had handicap parking right in front of the restaurant and their restroom was handicap friendly too! The place was packed when I was there some people were even eating outside at their 3 picnic tables. I was seated right away at a booth table with a window by it. I like to people watch so I enjoyed the window view. I was given water and a menu right away. Their prices were a little spendy $14.95 for most of the items on their menu. You can get one taco on the side for $2.75 and they have a children menu everything on it is $4.95.1 free refill on drinks and they even had American food for those people who don’t care for Mexican food, you can get a cheeseburger for $ 7.95, a hamburger for $6.95.They had fried ice cream and a few other things on their dessert menu. I ordered the smaller meal of 1 tamale with rice and beans and it was quite good and only cost me $9.95. So, their smaller meals come at a smaller price.

The food here used to be better, now it’s a little bit mediocre. I’ve been going here since I was little and there has been a change in the food quality since the new ownership. A bit salty, the sauces are slightly watery. Not bad food, just not the best I’ve had.

We were traveling, wanted Mexican food, and it was Mother’s Day. Google maps showed us we were 4 miles from this place, so we went for it. The food and service were both great! The service was outstanding, actually! There were people seated indoors, and we were the only ones seated outside (our choice). We were checked up on multiple times by always cheerful staff. They even cooked up some ground beef for our dog. The cheese enchiladas, chili relleno, bean chimichanga, salsa and guacamole were delicious! We are very happy we found this place in this quiet little town. We will return on our next visit to Oregon. Thank you!!

This place ranges from 2-4 stars. Sometimes the staff is friendly and the food is good. Other times a waitress is in a bad mood and the food is bland. So it gets 3 stars from me. If this place was more consistent I’d go there a lot more. It used to be consistently good food and happy staff, but it’s changed under the new owners. I’m not knocking the staff either, usually when employees are in a bad mood it’s because of management/owners. And they always do a pretty good job.
