Service was very slow yet we were the only customers for about 45 minutes. The shrimp ceviche was good but the rojo sauce on the enchiladas tasted like a can of tomato soup was used with no seasoning. The plantains were delicious and perfectly cooked. Also, the food was very inexpensive so even if you don’t like it, it’s not a lot of money wasted.

Service was amazing and the staff was super nice. The juice was fresh squeezed and super sweet, the pupusas were hot and delicious, and the platanos were sweet and had perfect texture. I’ll definitely be coming more often next semester.

This place is worth a try. It looks scary from the street, but the chicken was properly seasoned. It seemed like it was larger pieces from a hen. The leg I was served was broken.

My dining experience, well our server spoke little English, could not tell us when asked what was on the taco, he didn’t understand but he had a nice smile. The food looked very good worth every penny until I tasted it. It has really very little taste even the pico de Gallo was lacking the basic taste of cilantro & lime and my tacos they weren’t to my liking. It seems like the meat wasn’t a high quality a little chewy and no flavor except the salt I added we were not given a lemon or lime, the bean were good I enjoyed them… I may revisit again, but not any time soon.

Excellent food at an affordable price. If you’re ever nostalgic about Central American food then look no further. The baleadas are a great breakfast plate and the tamales are a good filler in case you’re still hungry. The food is served quickly with excellent service. Must go.

Food was great. Would return for tacos on a short visit. When ordering several items on the menu were not available. The seats are worn and tattered. Restrooms smelled dirty.

I loved the pupusas. I had with pork crackers. The owner is so humble and cheerful. Prices are great. The pupusas reminded me of a dish called paratha, which is a south asian stuffed flatbread Will visit soon.

The worst service I’ve had. I ordered over the phone and paid to make sure we didn’t wait like we normally do when we order there but to our surprise they still took about an hour. We saw customers that arrived and order after us receive their order before us. Even though they took very long we didn’t even get an apology from the manager. As said worst service ever.

Truly authentic. Tamales the way they should be – not dry and not greasy but entirely flavorful! Closest to the way my abuelita makes it. Super reasonable prices, and the flavor beats out any Tex Mex place in Baton Rouge.
