I love La Rosa. I’ve lived on the North Shore for 40+ years and have gone through many a favorite pizza spot for thin crust, most notably Carmen’s in Evanston, Piero’s in Wilmette (the all time fave) and Marco Roma in Winnetka after Piero’s closed. After moving back to Evanston, I tried La Rosa and it’s by far the best I’ve found so far. Great crust and sauce, the right amount of cheese (always a bit carmelized) and toppings and quick service. Highly recommended.

I haven’t ordered from here in so many years because I don’t live that close to it anymore but I recently got a large thin crust pizza with sausage and onions and an eggplant parmigiana sandwich and both were amazing just like I remembered it to taste. I’ll definitely make a special trip back again soon.

When I picked up my pizza last time I really liked the ability to watch them being made in the front window. It was refreshing to see people making the pies. The thin and crispy crust with the innovative way they layer the cheese makes it a real treat for the family. It is always first on our list of take out places. Good job everyone!
