Summers
I was outside on a hot day with friends and wanted to cool off with some mocktails and Mexican food. We order “house made” chips, quac, and queso. The chips were so oily that they were becoming stale by the minute. The quac was so flavorless that it tasted store-bought. The queso was alright. We then ordered some food. I ordered taquitos, and when I tell you, they were so dry and so bland. If I wasn’t so hungry, I would have immediately asked for the bill. Everyone else’s food was so mediocre and completely bland. Mocktails were great. The only thing you could possibly come here for and ENJOY is a drink. Other than that, skip right over this place. (Not mention the service was slow despite us being one of 3 groups in the whole place; I’ve had better)

This is a great place to hit for happy hour if you want curbside seating on Main St. If your not lucky enough to get a table out front your still in luck as the large front window opens completely giving the bar area an airy patio feel. The staff is pleasant and accomodating. The 3 stars is mainly because the food is average at best. I have been here several times and tried various menu items, everything seems bland with no wow factor.

Whoever bought this place and made the menu seems like they “love” the idea of Mexican food but has just been introduced to something other than ground beef hard shell tacos. I used to work here years ago and I came back to see how it was and literally every aspect of this place took a downgrade. The quality and taste of the food was lower than other cheaper “Mexican” options (the cactus cantina.) The tequila list used to have interesting and not as common tequilas to now be replaced with a celebrity endorsed list of spirits. The service was great, the prices aren’t too bad either but the food, cocktails, and menu is absolutely terrible. The burrito I had was easily the worst I have ever been served. It was astonishing how little flavor something packed with so many different ingredients can have. You know whoever is making this menu knows nothing about food when they include lettuce in a warm burrito. Luckily me and my partner both got food poisoning from this so the food didn’t have to stay in our stomachs much longer after we left.

Everything about this place is low quality but overpriced. The food is mediocre at best and isn’t the least bit authentic. The drinks are priced around what you would get at a cocktail bar but the ingredients are of the lowest quality. The tequila selection is based primarily off of celebrity endorsement and name recognition. Over hearing the staff talk, it seems they’re barely able to hold onto staff due to mismanagement. I’m truly surprised they’re able to stay afloat.

I went 2x in person and had good experiences. They have a great vibe. I ordered take out via ToastTab this evening and was given chicken instead of Carne asada in a burrito but was charged an extra $6.00 for it. Also, there was an automatic 18% gratuity charge which I did not find appropriate as we did not dine in. I thought it may be due to using the app but it was not. I did not even see it until after it was paid.

I have a friend who visited this place several times and told me to try it out, he then told me that management change and food was not as good, but drinks were ok. I went with my in-laws who came for my wedding. I have to say it was by far one of the worst experience ever… the mojito was good and so the guacamole! The rest of the food was horrible!!!! The beans tasted like the have pour a gallon of lemon juice in them. The tacos, I mean like I was embarrassed because I know tacos are spicy if you ask for them that way, no one was able to eat it! I didn’t make a scene because there were several people there, I reached out to them via email and was told I should have addressed this with them while at the restaurant! Go figure…. I can’t tell you one thing, never going back

Rooftop really nice but could use new cushions on furniture. Service was great. She was very attentive. Nachos were meh, but necessary when drinking!

The elotes were !!! We all enjoyed whatever food we ordered. The drinks were fantastic. The staff was friendly. Everyone I’m my group was there for the first time, and we all agreed we would go back! The only slight thing was it was very loud and there were few people for the degree of noise there was. The ambient music was also enjoyable!

When I order the steak burrito. They were very skim on the steak part it was more a veggie wrap with more rice and beans than steak. So i asked to switch my order from the steak burrito to chicken taco. And this was after the kitchen refused to make my burrito over or at least add more steak to it. I am not one to make a fuss, but after receiving my new choice , I still didn’t like the quality of the food. The chicken was dry and hard and unflavored it was just not what I expected . Because it was my second time here, so i knew what i was getting. But again, I’m not trying to make a fuss. I’m just going to put it on maybe them having an off day. But my server was wonderful and always trying to find a way to fix the problem even herself try to get my order fixed on the first try. I’m not saying not to go here for drinks or atmosphere because it is great, but go in with low expectations when it comes to the food part.
