Went to La Popular for my birthday dinner with the family. This was our first visit to this establishment. To start, this location is directly next to Eureka, so make sure you go to the correct entrance (lol).

Food was good, not the best but it was good. Tacos portion size too small for the price. The fajitas were good deff a good portion size. Cocktails were actually really good, and ill deff come back for just the drinks. The group cocktails are definitely worth it if you have 2 more people with you.

Fancy taco place! The food quality is very good, and the wait staff are attentive and polite. The dining room is huge. They are going for that semi-dark motif modern architecture, and it is giving you the upscale dining experience. I recommend the queso fundido with chorizo with modelo negra beer. I also ordered the Campechano tacos. They are all excellent. They also served killer Margaritas. The only caveat is that it’s on the expensive side. For me, if the food and experience are great, it’s worth it.

Great social drinking and dinner spot, not our favorite Mexican food we have had but it was good, the menu seemed limited. But the Service was great, it was a clean and fun environment. We did not get alcoholic drinks, but it seemed to be a spot for drinks and if you want food there are great options.

First time visiting La Popular, not your typical Mexican fare. We had an early reservation, got right in, decided to eat indoors, patio was fairly full at 5:00 on Father’s Day.

This place was packed on a Wednesday night. They don’t take reservations. We waited at the bar until we got our table. Drinks were good, service was attentive in the beginning then it was bad throughout the Night. Two of our party got the main course but the last one had to wait more than we expected. Chicken mole enchiladas has no flavor, and it looks like it could be a appetizer…too little portions. The ribs were the ones who took longer to get but were fantastic. The waiter disappeared and we had to flag down someone else to get us our check. Overall is okay, it probably needs more staff to keep the customers happy.

This place is really good! Our first time here and definitely enjoyed it. Service was amazing both servers were very kind and friendly and attentive. I ordered an horchata drink and it wasn’t the best and they went as far as remaking the drink for me and it came out perfect the second time! Food was delicious the tacos were delicious and so were the enchiladas Blancas. They give you a sauce tray to try all of the sauces they have and my favorite was the llorona sauce. Over all great service and great food and great staff. Definitely recommend.
