Great service and atmosphere, but not quite so with the food. We had the combo which includes rice, bean burrito, and spinach quesidilla. The rice was very good, the beans in the burrito were more watery than I would like, but still tasted ok. But the spinach tasted like moss scraped off a rock in one of the nearby creeks. The best part of our dinner was the chips and salsa.

My wife and I passed this place a few times in our travels around the area, and it seemed to attract quite a few customers. So we swung by to see what it was like. The quantity of customers ended up biting us in the rear because there were no seats available. There wasn’t anyone at the door to help us, and the wait staff were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Fortunately, the bar tender saw us and invited us over to sit while he tried to get us a table. 20 minutes later, we were seated. The atmosphere isn’t anything special, but it is cozy. The bar tender ended up serving our food as well, which was nice because he was pleasant. The chips were decent, and salsa was pretty good. My wife really enjoyed her enchiladas. I had a burrito and chimichanga. I have to say that the beef burrito had very nicely flavored beef, and there was a lot of it. Normally, a beef burrito isn’t all that special. I’ve also gotta give credit to the refried beans. They had great flavor, and I had trouble stopping myself from eating once I was full. Overall, I can see why this place is popular. I hope to visit again.

Salsa was one of the best I’ve had. Tortillas were handmade for the tacos. The Al Pastor had a wonderful char and the chorizo was delicious.

The wait staff was so slow (not busy either) we didn’t have the same waiter once. We had to put in our order with 3 different waiters before getting our food. The food was less that average. I couldn’t even eat mine. My husband and mothers was some better than mine but not by much. Prices was good though I have to give them that. But you definitely get what you pay for. (Not in a good way either). By the end of it we all have food poison. I Definitely DONT recommend.

We picked this place randomly and we not disappointed. The salsa was delicious, the margaritas were tasty, and the food was delicious! We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to try this place out. Will definitely eat here again the next time we are in town.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside the atmosphere is Mexico. The NC Highway Patrol Officers eat here often. I always heard that this was a good sign of a good restaurant. We ordered a special Salad with Shrimp and fresh Zucchini and tomatoes and I put Salsa on mine and it was so Delicious. All the plates I saw looked Delicious. Small place with a Big Ole!!
