Had lunch here recently with my coworkers and was assured that this is the best, most authentic Haitian food you can find in the area.

I recently visited La Perle restaurant with my family of four to celebrate Father’s Day. While our experience left much to be desired, I believe there is potential for improvement.

Delicious food, delicious drinks and great service. The restaurant felt fancy and the food set up was nicely done. Gratuity was tacked on automatically which was convenient. There were three bathrooms, so no long waits. There was a long list of desserts to choose from. The location can be used for private events or large parties and the restaurant also does catering. This business is also black owned. There is street parking as well as garage parking my near by. I am looking forward to returning here!

I went here with friends and family to chill, eat and listen to some music. The staff was great and friendly, the food was fresh and tasty it was really good, drinks were delicious and pretty! The crème brûlée was a great happy ending. I highly recommend this restaurant, you can dress up or dress down and not feel out of place. While I was there I notice they had a pick up to go! Means I can call ahead and pick up while passing through Stamford. Keep up the great work Michelle and crew!

I love that there is a Haitian Restaurant in Downtown Stamford that I can go right outside of NY to eat as well as, one I can recommend to others for staple Haitian meals along with ambiance and service.

I was thrilled when my spouse walked me up to La Perle’s Restaurant door as a surprise. It was my birthday and to celebrate, my spouse brought me to La Perle to celebrate. Walking in, I was met with the beautiful design and size of the restaurant. You know that you are in for an elegant experience. The staff was very welcoming and the space provisions were made for the 19 situation. Looking at the menu, they had some great choices for appetizers like spicy mango chicken wings and jerk chicken tenders. Even though we weren’t eating vegan that night, I love that they offer dishes like garlic roasted pepper hummus. We decided to order the coconut shrimp dip with plantain chips. At first bite, the dip is deliciously cheesy. It is a warm oooey gooey cheesy dip. As we dipped into the dip with the plantains, we would find hearty chunks of shrimp. There was a nice amount of shrimp in the dip. I have to say that I didn’t really taste the coconut though. I also wish that the plantains were actually light and crispy plantain chips, but all in all, we enjoyed it. At this point, I was ready for a drink, but not a cocktail. I didn’t want alcohol, so I asked if they could make me a mocktail. The gentleman looked a little perplexed and then asked another lady if she could make a mocktail for me. To make things easier, I asked them to make me something fruity. They ended up giving me a glass of passion fruit juice. Although I like passion fruit juice, I was really looking forward to a beautifully built fruity concoction. It would be helpful if they could build a mocktail menu for people that want a special non-alcoholic drink. For dinner we ordered the Kabrit Tasso (fried goat), but honestly, it was very hard to choose from their great selection. Of course they offer Haiti’s national dish Griyo (fried pork), Conch Stew, which I plan you try next time and Kompa Shrimp and Grits, plus more. Our meal came with rice and beans but we asked to have diri djon djon (black rice) instead. They accommodated us without a problem. It also came with plantains (fried green plantains), vegetables and pikliz. Any chance I have, I order diri djon djon, I ordered it. This black rice did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed our meal, but I have to say, the star of the plate was the pikliz. It was so flavorful and lightly peppered, so even my spouse could enjoy it. The pikliz was perfect!!!! Once dinner was over, it was time for dessert. The unfortunate thing was, they didn’t have half of their dessert menu available, so that was disappointing. What they did have was cheesecake and I was happy with that. They were all so sweet. They came out singing happy birthday with a sparkler candle. Even Chef O’Neil came out singing. It made my night. All in all, La Perle is a great restaurant and we will definitely go back.

Came here last week with my uncle…it was a vibe. The drinks, customer service and food were on point. I ordered the Rasta pasta and he ordered the seafood paella, both of our dishes were delicious – can’t wait to go back!

. My salmon was burned and dry. I’m sorry I expect better. It’s a Haitian restaurant why non-Haitian is cooking Haitian food?
