First time: party of 4: 3 adults 1 child: Sit yourself down. They only had one waitress she wasn’t very pleasant. It is Christmas Eve so maybe she wasn’t very happy. ♀️It started when I ordered cafe de olla, which they don’t carry, but it’s advertised on every tv and menu. ( ok not a problem) I opt for the house coffee. It tasted like it had been sitting out for while. (barely warm) I had the pork guisado and 2 pupusas chicharrón y queso and queso y lorroco. The pupusas are the only reason for the 4 stars. The guisado was very blend. The other dishes were ok. The corn tortillas were amazing. I’ll definitely return for the pupusas. I also wouldn’t dine in again.

Worst place to order from literally 2 pieces of shrimp and 3 pcs of squid in the soup. Pupisas are very bland reviews here are very biased so beware. Do not waste your money here!s

We came across this place on accident as its hidden behind El Palenque and next to Hartz. I’m glad we decided on this place. The staff was very friendly and able to make recommendations to first timers. Did I mention breakfast all day!!! We had the Desayuno Love, Monterrey Street Tacks, and an order of pupusas. The food is absolutely made with love and very tasty. We will be definitely returning. I wish they would stay open later than 9p.

We came here on father’s day, and when arriving we like the look of the place and seemed well taken care of. Food was good only real complain we had was it was way too expensive for the amount food. We ordered a Bandeja Paisa which I’ve had many times before in different restaurants and this has to be the smallest version of this I ever seen. The steak was smaller than what I would’ve given my kids when they were little. Pupusas were barely filled, the food tasted good but the portions is what hinders the quality.

This hidden gem is located behind the Exxon station on the corner of Spring Cypress and 45. The restaurant is called La Patrona. They have a variety of delectable dishes to offer. This evening I was crossed between a bowl of seafood soup and a plate of carne guisada. I chose the carne guisada. The portions were more than enough and the food was delicious. There are other surprises that I’ll let you experience. For the most part you will leave there with a full belly and satisfied. I really enjoyed my meal and the serrano sauce. Good luck to this place! I can honestly say we will be back soon

Just don’t order shrimp if you’re allergic because my sister order fajita but they gave her shrimp and then we had to rush some Benadryl to my sister. Food was delicious!!! This place is delicious! The authentic papusas were amazing. If the locals only knew about this gem it would be packed. If I lived close, I’d eat here frequently for sure.

Went for a quick dinner. Brand new and hidden gem in a city with Many outdated mexican Taquerias. Great food and friendly service. Suzie is an excellent staff member there. Highly recommended .
