This place was very good! Much better than Rio Bravo and the past restaurants at this location. Food is more authentic Mexican than other normal Mexican places. The quesadillas were amazing. Definitely give this place a try if you have wrote it off due to past owners!

The best nachos (with steak and shrimp and chicken) I have ever had! Service was phenomenal and the margaritas were seriously great! I live across town now but we will definitely make the drive back. Best Mexican restaurant in town, hands down!! Our waiter will remember me by my first name, Johnnie/ there’s a park named after my Dad across the road.

Food and service was great. We were greeted immediately when we entered the door and we could tell that the business was happy to have us. We ordered 2 kids meals, 2 dinner entrees, and alcoholic beverages and the pricing was just right. The food came quickly and the server was very attentive. She offered to explain anything we didnt understand on the menu. We will return!

This is my go to Mexican restaurant. I have never had a complaint with the food or service. The drinks are reasonably priced and strong. Margaritas are my favorite and usually two for one!! Inside is warm and cozy with lots of friendly staff members.

Had to send one of our plates back three times to get it right but the staff was very polite and very fast with fixing the order. The food was delicious and the portion was excellent. Only complaint for the service is when we asked about a drink menu all we got was an explanation about the old menu having a drink menu and nothing about what’s available. No mention of either of these from the manager that was walking around pretty annoying.

Very loud, we moved outside so we could carry on a conversation. Service was pleasant. The food was good…I had the spinach quesadilla plus a glass of Merlot that must have been refrigerated. I had actually ordered the Rose, after checking with the server that it was dry but I chose not to make an issue of getting the Merlot instead. My bill was slightly over 18.00, so with tip 22.00. This was out of all proportion to the quality of food and service. I won’t be going back, but if you don’t mind lots of noise, choose something other than wine to drink and don’t mind spending 20.00 plus for a tortilla with some spinach and cheese then go for it.

Been here twice now and have had a more than pleasurable and comfortable experience. Service has been refreshingly friendly unlike the customer service I got from Popeyes the night before which made my experience here that much more enjoyable. No complaints about the food and flavors. Quesadilla is bomb!

Name changed again. From Toro Bravo to Rio Bravo to La Parrilla. Food was good but it’s gotten a little more expensive. Menu has also changed. They no longer have a combination section so if you want tacos and enchiladas you have to order them separately or from the “create your own” section which starts to lead into extra $$$. Our service was good but that really depends on the server. Ours did okay but the table next to us did not fare as well. Their waiter failed to check on them and and they kept having to flag someone down.

Restaurant was clean. Food was good but wasn’t very exciting. Our waitress was friendly but kept walking away quickly, for instance we would ask for “margaritas and…” but she would walk away before you could finish the request; this happened a few times. I was kinda grossed out about the men’s bathroom; it was clean but it’s split into two rooms. The main entry door doesn’t lock. When you first walk-in there is a urinal, then the second room has the sink and toilet with a locking door closing it off from the urinal room for privacy. The problem is if someone is using the toilet you can’t access the sink. Hopefully everyone would just wait until the full bathroom was available, but I’m sure there are many who just use the urinal and return to the table to share chips and salsa with their family and friends. A simple solution would be to just add a lock to the main door.
