Great food and even better customer service! The food was wonderful, I also don’t like refried beans usually however I enjoyed them here. The tortillas also came out very hot! Recommend the shrimp fajitas, they have a sweet and savory flavor. We never had to wait on our server as she was super attentive. Will definitely be back.

The service was great, wasn’t pushy, checked on us the perfect amount of times. Our favorite for this trip was the salsa and chips, a little spice, full flavor. The beer mugs were FROZEN and made for one of the best beers we have had in a long time!

Nice little spot just off the Port Orchard waterfront, great for lunch or dinner. Clean with prompt and friendly service. Great margaritas and tacos. Will definitely stop in again!

This is the best Mexican food in town as far as flavor goes. Really great staff also. The location is perfect for people walking up from their boats on the dock looking for dinner in walking distance. Their Margaritas are great, too (there’s nothing worse than sitting down at a Mexican restaurant and getting a bad Margarita!). Everything on the menu is great. We highly recommend the queso dip as an appetizer. The only time we choose a different Mexican restaurant on date night is when we really want to feel cozy in a booth. The tables and chairs in La Palapa are great for big families or meeting a large group of friends, but they lack the cozy date night atmosphere. (Still our favorite food, tho)!

Absolutely delicious and huge portions! The prices were higher than I expected but when the food came out I was surprised it didn’t cost more! The margaritas were great too, the jalapeño marg had a great, real jalapeño flavor and a light heat that went well with the tajín rim

Adorable little place right on the water! This was my first time coming to Port Orchard and it made a lasting impression! Waitstaff was incredibly friendly, food was DELICIOUS and the large portions kept me filled the rest of my adventure! Would love to return next time I’m in town!

The food is always consistently good here. Beautiful Tex-Mex and wonderful margaritas. It can be a little loud when there are lots of people in it. But truthfully this is a fabulous find in Port Orchard.

The service was prompt, and the server was friendly. The shredded chicken in the enchilada was very poorly cooked with a tough plastic-y texture. A great way to ruin the entire dish. I do not recommend it.

One of our favorite go-to restaurants for lunch or dinner when we want Mexican. The service is stellar and food is authentic. Have tried 70 percent of their menu and have not had anything there yet that we didn’t like. Great prices and large portions. Would love to see pozole verde on the menu or as a special sometime!
