The food used to be good but the last few experiences have been terrible. We previously had purchased menudo and pupusas in December and all family members got food poisoning. We then tried ordering again last week and not only was the food cold, the salsa was watery and everything just looked thrown together last second, but we also found a bug on the tostadas. A lady bug isn’t the worst bug to find, but everything about their food has just felt unsanitary. We will not be eating prepared food from here again.

The food is tasty, brings me back to the food in California. The staff is friendly. The tables to eat are at the back of the building through the market, which might feel to a new visitor they have entered the wrong place. There’s a lot to look at while waiting for your food though.

My husband walked into this market the other day for a cold drink while on his walk. We had no idea that there is a little restaurant in the back. We went on Tuesday to check it out and found THE BEST tacos and burritos we’ve had since we were in California. Authentic, perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. Cannot wait to go back for lunch again. We both had the pollo tacos and shared a pollo burrito. Next time I’m planning to have the carnitas tacos. We both highly recommend this place. Ordering is fun with the tiny stand in the hallway of the market, seating is in the rear of the store next to some of the back stock for the market. There are self-service refrigerators with cold drinks and fresh salsa near the tables. You can pay in the back or in the front of the store on your way out. Definitely a must-try little place!

Best burrito I ever had. I was visiting about 5 years ago and got hooked on the burritos. I looked it up again so my girlfriend could find this place while she is in town. Still haven’t had a better burrito since.

Tacos were ok. Not very flavorful but the salsa helped. I used both the red and green. They were good! Made fresh to order. They have tables available to eat inside of you like it you can get the food to go.

I’m Caribbean and this place is stocked with fresh produce and all the Latin essential I need to prepare my food. There is also Latin food prepared.

It’s a small shop with a butcher so that’s something I was looking for, but I came here for the food! Tacos to be exact. I ordered a carnitas, carne asada, and Al Pastor. All 3 were great, but the Pastor was my favorite. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Just tried this place for the first time. We got a beef torta & chicken/seasoned pork tostadas! They were absolutely delicious!! Will definitely be back for another torta, 10/10 recommend. The horchata drink was sooo good too . Delicious, homemade authentic Mexican food
