This is one of those times when I cannot wait to do a review. Have you ever gone somewhere and just had the best experience? This is how I felt eating here. It was extremely clean. Carol and Geraldo are the sweetest husband and wife team. They were so warm and personable. I felt like they were longtime friends. So patient and helpful with good suggestions on what to order. I had the strawberry mango Margarita, blended. Made to perfection. My sister had the watermelon Margarita, which was also amazing. We had the bacon wrapped jalapeño peppers for our appetizer – loved them!! We also had guacamole, which was a pretty small bowl so I would’ve loved to have had more but it was good. It could’ve had a bit more seasoning, but no major complaints about that. The chips and salsa are freshly made by Mr. Geraldo. I had the enchiladas with Verde sauce and was happy with my selection. The rest of my party had enchiladas with Ranchero sauce and they were happy with that. It was such a comfortable experience. I was not able to take a picture of the outside due to the weather (rainy and windy) that was knocking over chairs. I went on a Saturday about 2 o’clock. Our bill for the four of us was $102 so that was pretty reasonable for the amount of food that we ate. We left comfortable and full. I will absolutely be going back to visit real soon and bringing my friends and family.

I love the food here. I’ve been twice and it’s exquisite every time. Never cold, always freshly made. Their cheese is definitely the best around and the price is much more affordable than anywhere else I’ve been.

Food is always hot and fresh with great customer service and presentation. My husband is African and when I say this man hardly likes any one’s rice. He was enjoying it so much!! If you can please that man then that means the food is a winner!!

After missing the lunch time at another restaurant, while playing “tourist”, we were passing through town and stopped in. We had a very positive experience…prompt and attentive service, good food with good quantity for the price. There was some confusion with one order, but the waitress apologized and promptly offered to redo the order. BUT, my sister tried it and it was very good, so kept the dish as is. We will definitely come back again when we’re in the area. The restaurant was easy to find and we felt safe in this location, with no parking problems. Good luck La Nueva Tequilas!

Excellent food, drinks, service, and environment! Everything is freshly made every day. All food is made to order, never sits under a heat lamp. Margaritas are a family recipe, not a mix! They have the following margaritas: prickly pear margaritas, pomegranate, strawberry, mango, blue Curacao, raspberry, watermelon, Pina colada, etc. Come give them a try! You’ll love it!
