Stopped by to get some authentic Oaxacan food, and they did not disappoint! The food was amazing, and the service was impeccable! Highly recommended if you are looking for something other than the generic Mexican food. Try the mole and tlayuda you won’t be disappointed. Show up hungry portions are huge!

Came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Wanted to try the chicken mole and it was very good. Worth the drive if you are a fan of this type of food. Located in downtown Hillsboro which is fun to walk around and shop.

Great service! Atmosphere enjoyable. It seems a overpriced at first, but when you get your plate you can see it’s well worth the price. The food is fresh and the portions are large. We took half our food home and ate the next day.

This is a restaurant inside the grocery store. When we sat down we were immediately impacted by the extremely extremely loud music/radio. And when it wasn’t the radio, we were hearing the butcher use a saw to cut up meat. We waited a while without being served and we decided to leave due to just absolute noise overload. We went to the downtown location which was wonderful and so happy to went to the other location!

This food was really good! My husband got a burrito and it was really filling he only ate half. I got two mole enchiladas and the mole was really great, kind of spicy but very yummy. They were also really filling I ate one and took one home. I did have to ask the waitress for water, utensils and chips and dip after we had ordered and been sitting down for like 10 minutes (and it was just us and another couple), but she was young and could have been learning. We’ll definitely be going again.

I have come several times to eat at this place and today I found a dead fly on my plate I told the waitress what I had found on my plate she removed the plate without telling me anything later I went to the counter to pay my bill and the manager come out to ask me if it was true that I found a dead fly on my plate and I ask her if she check the plate. she said yes she see the dead fly but she doesn’t know how the fly got into the food because there no flies in the kitchen. that made me understand that I was lying I never refused to pay for the service at this moment she never apologize and I told her that’s not the right way to treat a customer because I have experience working in customer service and she just turned around and went into the kitchen and asked us to leave the place just because I told her that she doesn’t know to treat a client.

We stopped in to LA MIXTECA OAXACA, finely! We were not disappointed! I had Entomatadas with grilled chicken. It was phenomenal. It had a great kick to an already amazing flavor. We also had Enchiladas Verdes (Green) that was wonderful! Stopping in while at Saturday market, a bonus to an already great day.

A restaurant built into a small market. We came here for breakfast as there aren’t very many Mexican restaurants that open for breakfast and we were not disappointed. The eggs and chorizo were delicious and the chocolat con leche was delicious but pretty sweet. Love all the colors on the ceiling. The salsas were also excellent and the food cam promptly.
