I wanted a big burrito and their big burrito was just right. The beef had excellent flavor and texture. The staff was friendly and the food came out very quickly. The prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of the food.

I love a giant burrito, and La Milpa came through in spades. It was big enough that I saved part of it for a late night snack. I also enjoyed the two versions of salsa provided with your chips. Great flavors and service.

This is hands down one of the best Mexican food restaurants I have ever been to. They have THE BEST vegetarian burrito I have ever had! I added pico and guacamole to it. The service is great and the food comes quickly. The tacos, enchiladas, and just about everything else we have tried are excellent.

The food was so good! I moved out of California decades ago and of course it’s difficult to find good Mexican options. I got the enchiladas and the flavor took me right back to childhood and that taste that I’ve missed for so many years! So glad we found this place. Will gladly go back if in the area again.

First of all, I ordered 2 crunchy tacos, they had no sour cream on them, like their pictures! Just dry tacos with lettuce and cheese, and extremely overpriced! It says one price on menu, but they charge you different, which isn’t right.

The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is authentically delicious. I appreciate any Mexican establishment that offers chips and salsa. Their salsa is super tasty and the right amount of heat!

Mexican restaurant in milpitas with generous portion sizes. The price is high but if you can make it 2 meals then it’s worth it in my opinion.

I first ate at LA Milpa in the 1990s at their old location. We were heading home from Campbell and hit food near me. I was surprised to see they were still in business! My husband and I called in our orders to go as they were closing soon. What an awesome surprise to find the food was still delicious! I love their Tostadas, Tacos, flautas… yum!

Good place to eat, honestly I heard so much about it that I think I was expecting too much from this restaurant. The food was good but not great. I had the enchilada plate with rice and beans but it tasted like the enchilada was made the day before and warmed up. The tortilla from the enchilada was kind of chewy and didn’t seem fresh, but wasn’t bad either way. The chips and salsa were great and the service was excellent. Would I come back?? Probably not, there are better Mexican restaurants all over the bay area and many closer to me than this one.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. It was decently busy but we were able to get seated right away. The server was quick to drop off the complimentary chips and salsa and offer beverages. (Beware only one free refill for soft drinks. Menu does let you know as well.) After ordering the food came out super quick. Everything tasted great. Good Mexican food for a good price. PS.. Just a heads up.. We came in with two small children and strollers are not permitted. We had to make a trip back to the car to drop it off.
