I have never eaten inside their restaurant. I am an order to go repeat customer. Their Street Tacos that comes with 15 in the box, guacamole, cooked whole jalapeños, onion bulbs, chips and salsa is incredible. Give it a try especially if you like authentic type of Mexican food.

I’m not sure why so many Mexican restaurants in the area have 4.5 to 5 stars b/c in our opinion, 3 stars is being generous. Pros here- queso was great, chips & salsa were good, margarita was decent (definitely didn’t taste fresh), & prices were cheap. Cons- our meals were not good at all. Street tacos were not good at all. We assumed they’d be like street tacos from taco food trucks in San Antonio/Texas area, but the meat in the street tacos here had no flavor. The tamales tasted like wet cornbread with almost no filling. We’ll stick with Shorty’s Tamales by Walmart on Zero street for tamales in the Ft Smith area, for sure. We also ordered a bean burrito but never got it. We’d consider stopping by in the future if we happen to be close by and just want a snack of chips, queso, & a drink, but we definitely won’t be back for a full meal. Service wasn’t the greatest either which is a big deal for us. Overall, not impressed except for the cheese dip .

The service was GREAT, it was fast they were attentive, the food was nice and hot. However everything went down hill as I left. I went to the counter to check out and the man who was taking the payments added to my total. My official ticket was $13.46. he charged me $14.79 I’m guessing for the tip for the waitress, but I was wanting to tip my waitress more than that. Also the way he did it with no hesitation I can tell it’s something he does often. Just make sure you’re checking the check they give you and the check he gives you. Although I enjoyed everything else about the experience, I will not be back due to that. I can’t trust a business who will steal from you in your face.

Great place! Good servers and awesome food. The tacos are some of the best in the area. The mocajete is pretty good as well.

First Red flag! Nobody else eating at this restuarant!! The server didn’t understand & brought meat in my tostada when I asked for beans—he took it back & brought me what I ordered. The lettuce was from a bag—previously cut—cilantro had black pieces cause it wasn’t fresh either—beans tasted from a can or they had too much lard in them. Too much money for old food!!! I wished I had opened my cold beans in a can and made my own tostadas since I had all the makings! Very disappointing!!! Even the presentation didn’t look good so I didn’t take pictures!

Street tacos are incredibly good. Service was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately they only offer Anheiser Busch products for their beer choices. Only thing keeping them from a 5-star review.

There were 12 of us, they forgot an order and we had to remind them about it. You need to keep MORE honey on hand for the sopapillas. Dry without the honey. Sent them back!!

Love la mesa for taco Tuesday by far my favorite place to get street tacos. Always fast and the food is always perfect.

We usually eat mostly to go from there. The food is top notch. Best chorizo in town. Some may find it pricey but you get what you pay for. It’s my go to Mexican restaurant. I highly suggest the Chori Pollo or Super Burrito.
