My first experience with Peruvian food surpassed all expectations. Our group of four ordered a variety of dishes: two hot appetizers, one cold appetizer, two main courses, and a delightful cake for dessert. The portion sizes were just right, and I particularly enjoyed the unique touch of taro chips instead of bread at the start of the meal.

Everything was so delicious and amazing! I loved all of the seafood and how fresh it was. We started with one ceviche with octopus, fish, and squid and it was amazing! I wish we had ordered more. We followed that with the grilled pulpo. Didn’t much care for the sweet potatoes that came with it but loved the octopus. Then we had the pasta with snow crab topped with quail eggs and that was amazing! The ravioli was so perfect. Lastly, we ordered the shrimp with rice. My favorite dish was definitely the ceviche. Would highly recommend. It’s definitely upscale and pricey but service was extremely good. Only feedback was that our table was really sticky and everything stuck to it.

I go to this restaurant about twice a year. The service is impeccable, food extraordinary and consistent. The view on the patio is great.

The food was amazing. Despite how busy they were, the server was always making sure we were taken care of. I will let the pictures speak for itself. Food lovers get ready to fall in love in a Peruvian adventure. Make sure you are hungry and also make a reservation in advance. This place is busy for a reason. Enjoy!

I recently visited La Mar to celebrate the July 4th holiday, we opted for their exquisite 5-course tasting menu. The culinary journey was beyond this world, each dish showcased the chef’s expertise in seafood preparation. As we savored each bite, the distinct aromas transported us to the coastal wonders of Peru. Although the tasting menu is a bit on the pricier side, the exceptional quality and artistry of the dishes justify every penny.

Wonderful lunch, had the seafood entree, very very good, it had prawns, scallop, octopus, and fish. Also with vegetable and potatoes. Delicious!! Probably more potatoes than necessary, and the Tres Leche cake was scrumptious. My cousin had the Arroz with seafood, and she enjoyed it but it did not have any fish….. sigh….

Authentic, fresh Peruvian food with exceptional service and a great, bright atmosphere. The regular menu is more than rich enough, but the specials were the real standouts, including a delicious giant oyster and a couple of really interesting crab dishes on the day we were there. Also loved the unexpected salmon belly “nigiri”.

We celebrated my friends 40th birthday here. We didn’t get to really pick from the menu because we were a large group of like 20 women.
