If you haven’t noticed from the other reviews, people love this place. It’s the food, and it’s the dude. An order of the quesabirria tacos is not only delicious, but keeps me feeling alive for longer than most meals. If you’re ordering some excellent munchage from La Mandibula, I recommend ordering a shot of Dr. Bird from the Monkey’s Paw to go with it. That’s my favorite combo, anyway.

The quesabirria tacos are the best you can find in Eugene and Springfield. The consume is rich; the tortillas are handmade, crispened, yet soft; I can’t describe the cheese, but it’s really good; and the service is always kind and generous.

I highly recommend trying the quesobirria tacos! Well worth the $$. They were so flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice for someone who can’t handle much. There is an option for spicy if that is your guilty pleasure. Would rate 12/10 for quality/service/kindness.

Very nice! I had the quesabirria tacos which were absolutely delicious and had just the right amount of heat. I’m pretty weak sauce when it comes to handling the ol capsaicin but this was right at the roof of my tolerance. I will definitely be getting these again.
