Fantastic little Italian restaurant! We are new to the Magnolia area and were looking for a none Mexican restaurant to go to for a family dinner (6 adults and 3 small kids, one of which is 2). We read the positive reviews of this place and decided to try it out. The location isn’t prime (in a strip mall) but the interior was nice and the hostess quickly created a large table out of two and seated us. My dad, my father in law and I had questions about the local beer choices on the menu and the waitress wasn’t really familiar with them so she said she’d ask the owner (she did have good suggestions on wine for the ladies). The owner brought out four local beers for us to sample before we ordered, which were all different but very good (pretty cool and completely unnecessary thing for him to do). We decided on the beers we liked best and ordered off of their menu which has plenty of choices (also quite a few choices for kids). The portions were generous and very good (the bread they brought prior to the main dishes was great!). The wait staff was very good with the kids, especially the 2 year old.

This is my favorite Italian food in the area. They make great pizza, great lasagna, great pasta dishes. Their garlic and oil dip for the bread is by far the best appetizer. The wait staff is friendly and very attentive to my needs. I will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes.

I’ve been wanting to review this place for a while now. I had the worst dining experience I’ve ever had here. I ordered a simple stuffed shells, it was served in a deep bowl and very, very hot. I let it cool and attempted to try it through out my time here and it did not cool down at all, and i ended up having a burn. My date finished his meal, and we we’re ready to leave. I did not intend to take a full plate home, nor pay for what I couldn’t have eaten. I told the waitress to please take it back, she left and returned with the owner. He very unnecessarily told me that, “Even small children know to agitate their food” and he will not take the plate back NOR let me take it home because he was refusing to serve me, as they have the right to do. He told me to never come back if I was unsatisfied, which was very unnecessary. I was unable to eat, yelled at by the store owner, and given rude service the entire time I was here. I will never want to come to this restaurant again, and will be warning my friends and family.

Excellent food! Hot, fresh and delicious. Made to order. Chicken Florentine soup was amazing! Atmosphere could use a little work: lighting, music to set the right mood. Garlic bread was unique, hot and buttery. Good lunch prices and even better looking dinner menu. I’ll DEFINITELY return!

We love the food here my wife and I come for every anniversary. I’ll be taking her out there tonight for her birthday. The owner and staff are always accommodating and helpful when trying to plan a surprise for my wife. It’s good to see a restaurant takes pride in their food quality of service and sees each customer as more than just another dollar.

My Husband and I just moved to the area about a month ago. We enjoy eating out local so decided to try it out. We were greeted immediately which was nice. We ordered the Bruschetta for our appetizer which was AMAZING! My Husband got the combo plate and I ordered the Chicken Rollatini. Both dishes were piping hot and delicious! Service was on point and prices were very reasonable. We will be back for sure!

Pretty decent place to get Italian food. It’s hard to find any real Italian in TX either. Food is clean and good. I would recommend the Tomato Caprese for an appetizer and Try one of the house salads with the house dressing. I like the bread they serve with the olive oil. Little things like that make the meal.

Great place, awesome food and decor. Has to have the most awesome waitress ever, Shyanne you’re the best. She made our date night great, she just kept us laughing and made the meal that much better. We will definitely be back due to her.

This place has pretty good food, pretty good service but most of all it has a very good location. The food quality is consistent and good each time we have eaten there. If you live in Magnolia and don’t want to travel 30 minutes to eat dinner, this is a very good place to go.

Our spontaneous decision to do family dinner out tonight, but no desire to do any franchise chains or Tex-Mex, lead us to try La MagnoliaTrattoria Italiana. The menu had all the usual Italian selections. I ordered from the specials and had a fantastic veal stuffed with crab meat (in a Balsamic vinegar sauce) w/ angel hair pasta in garlic sauce. The ambiance/decor is not what I’d look for on the all to rare date night for me and my wife, but it’s a perfectly fine setting for a family dinner with our kids (9 year old twins). Everyone’s food was great, and the level of service especially so. Multiple service staff stopped throughout our meal as if they were all watching for all customers and not just “their” tables. The garlic bread was interesting, not bad, but I’d like to see some work on that recipe as the bread itself was a bit heavy. Overall a great place for Italian right in Magnolia!
