I travel with some friends from NYC to NJ just to try my Peruvian friend food and I wasn’t disappointed, the food was delicious and even though it’s was a long travel we will go back soon.

They should play peruvian eastern music instead salsa, that’s a peruvian restaurant

Fairly expensive, food was interesting, but it didn’t impress me. It is written from an American point of view, so I am missing point of reference.

I couldn’t believe when I saw it about this restaurant selling my typical food from my town in Perú!!! I have been looking for so long a restaurant that will sell my jungle dishes from my town in Perú.

Delicious food, peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend the Arroz Chaufa. It’s worth a trip to explore new varieties of Peruvian food.

We ate chicharrones de Paiche they were really good, we got jugo de cocona which was AMAZING I really recommend it, it’s like a passion fruit juice but with a nice twist. I enjoyed it a lot, we also got kokona special which came with tacacho which was awesome, is like a mash fried plantain with some crunchy chips inside, cecina which had a really nice smoke flavor, I would describe it as a thick bacon with a nice smoke flavor, it also came with juane which is rice cooked in banana leaf, that wasn’t good you can tell that that wasn’t fresh it was dry and it had a boil egg inside that was super hard and old and the last thing it came with was chorizo which was good but dry. Service was OK after we finish eating it took the server around 30 minutes to come to us to pay, we were the only people in the restaurant so there’s no excuse to take that long but overall it was a good experience, I would recommend if you are in the mood for some exotic Peruvian food

Went here (my wife is peruvian) and it was a nice change of flavor from the tropical Lomo saltado and ceviche you get. The tacacho was dope.
