Nice little restaurant. Great food (I’m mexican, so if they are advertising mexican styles, I am a tough critic). The food was really good!!! Love the flavor! The drinks were also very tasty and refreshing. I asked them to add a tajin rim on mine and they did it! The pics are from Shrimp Ceviche tostada (love the small bites, and still very filling), Shrimp taco, and the churros.

Went for my birthday in June. We had such a great experience. Didn’t call ahead but they were so accommodating. We sat outside because we had our dog with us and they took great care of him. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The guacamole and chips were super fresh. We started with guacamole, I got the endless summer margarita and the veggie bowl and they added wild mushrooms for me. We got churros for dessert. All delicious.

I have never left a review for anything, but I felt as though it’d be a diservice to our server and La Joya to not leave one. Hands down the best tacos I have ever had, and one of the most wonderful servers I’ve ever talked to. At just $5 for each taco (which is an absolute steal for how delicious it is), its a great option for any night out. When I say “everything” is fresh, I literally mean EVERYTHING. La Joya had a calamari to die for and the fruit was never really tangy and ruined the taste of the meat, it all complimented each other perfectly because it’s ALL fresh. I would write more about this place but my phone is about die.

I really think the restaurant is a Treasure. The food is outstanding, service is fast and on the top, staff is wonderful and timely. Front of the restaurant and from what I can see, the back kitchen is very clean and well kept- Amazing!. Quality ingredients and great menu mix for the concept. Waiting for the next step for expansion with everything. Amazing owners that are investing their hard work to bringing food and experience to the area. LOVE IT!!!!

The food here was really good and the portion size might look small but it was perfect. Taco’s were really good, I like the wide variety of tacos that you can pick. Enchiladas were really nice, usually they’re very heavy, these were extremely nice and light. Staff here are fantastic, overall very friendly and helpful, always taking care of you. Drink menu will easily satisfy any alcohol consumer. Recommend to anyone who wants a nice Mexican meal with friendly staff and quick service.

Best guac and queso west of the river. Also notably good are the Baja fish tacos and the chili relleno. Only complaint is that the dining room is tiny, so if it’s not outside weather it can be hard to get a table.

It took 45 minutes for our take out order to be ready when the confirmation said it would take 20. My $15 “shrimp ceviche” was about a cup of diced avocado with a couple bits of tomato and onion and mango with a very small side of chips, no shrimp, jalapeño, lime, cilantro or flavor at all. It was listed as a dinner item online so I was disappointed it was basically just a small portion of salsa with no seasoning. My husband was underwhelmed by his burrito. Sadly don’t think we’ll be trying this place again for the price.

Lovely addition to the local restaurant scene. Great food and beverages. Service was excellent, and was kind to let a friend keep a table while I experienced a car breakdown on the way to join. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu, but the chips appetizer was the app we settled on, and we both got the 2 enchilada combo. Flavors were excellent, meat cooked perfectly. Make sure to get here early on a weekend- seating is limited, and if it’s busy they have a 90 min turnover time!

First time going to La Joya and will most certainly be going again. The food is very fresh tasting and excellent. The seasoning is well balanced and not over done. The staff is friendly and professional. It’s not inexpensive but I thought it was a good value because it was so well executed.

It was my first time at this restaurant. I was referred by my trainer. Absolutely LOVED the staff. They were very welcoming and accommodating. The location is small inside, but we came for an early lunch and it didn’t feel overcrowded. There is outdoor seating as well if you choose. The food was good as well and portion sizes were plentiful. The Trio is a must have!!!! Chips with a trio of picante, cheese and guacamole. I will definitely go back to try some other items on the menu.
