La Jolla offers an amazing dining experience and wonderful atmosphere. We went for dinner on a Friday evening and were greeted immediately. The staff was very friendly and sat us at a table overlooking the restaurant. Michael was our server and he was incredible. He offered suggestions and took the time to answer all our questions.

I reserved a table for one on a Friday. I travel from Montgomery to Auburn daily with my job, so I called the receptionist and asked for a grace period to ensure that I did not lose my table. I was reassured that I had until 630 to get there. I arrived at 6:15 and the hostess greeted me at the door with an apology because she had given my table away. I questioned the validity of that and took the bar instead. I understand procedure and protocols but she knew me by name therefore she knew my phone number and could’ve called me to let me know that my table was forfeited. I resorted to the high bar ordered my usual. I don’t remember the bartenders name, but he salvaged the situation he was actually a great representation of the restaurant and the owners. he received a lavish tip reflective of his service. I’m leaving this review to make a point B careful how you respond to people because it could affect the whole dynamic of the Dining experience.

Not a bad spot! Only downside was needing a reservation at 5pm on a Wednesday but we were still able to sit at the bar/high top. The food was pretty okay, I had expected a little more flavor for the price but overall a decent meal. The drinks were amazing and the service was super fast so overall a pretty good experience!

The Bar Tender, Steve, At This Location Was The Bomb. He Was Very Nice, Courteous, And He Recommended The Best Dish On The Menu, Even Though I Been There Before, But My Wife Had Not, So He Treated Both Of Us As If We Were Brand New And That Set The Mood Off Right Because My Wife Was Very Satisfied With The Service And I Was Too. We Will Most Definitely Be Back For More Good Food, Fast Service, And Awesome People. Thanks For The Great Hospitality.

La jolla is my favorite American style restaurant in montgomery. I come here all the time especially when they add something new to the menu. Most of the food is cooked on a giant green egg. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is great Michael, David, Lisa, Steve, Daminan, and Sam to name a few always make you feel welcome.
