We came really early on a Tuesday (4pm). We were the only diners and got special attention. The restaurant is very clean and very modestly decorated, but we came for the food and we were NOT DISAPPOINTED! I’m not driving to Manhattan anymore for Mexican food. This place is my new favorite. I had the Flautas and my companion had the Burrito Jalisco they were absolutely PERFECT. The chips and salsa were better than any place north of New Mexico and that’s saying a lot. The server kept our drinks and chips full and the Pico de Gallo was fresh and flavorful. I have NOTHING but great things to say about our visit. If you live within driving distance, forget all the others and give this a try. They don’t have signage on or above the restaurant, just a neon open sign on a side window, so use Google maps and I’ll include a photo. After crossing the bridge across Milford Lake and following the road curving west through Wakefield’s tiny business area, it will be just of the road on the right side. If you pass Dollar General, you’ve gone too far. Enjoy!

We drove 40 minutes to get here, since it says it is open everywhere. We pull up and the open sign is on, but not a single car. We pulled on the door and it’s closed. Seriously? Please update the info. We were so excited and drove so far to get what looks like more authentic Mexican food. So, so mad.

We decided to go to dinner tonight since mothers day is always busy everywhere. It was delicious. I got the fajitas Mexicans. Chicken pork beef shrimp and chorizo.. Delicious. Monday’s are .99 cent margaritas. So mike said I could order one and to order one for him to. Whew. It has been a year since I had one.b it was good. The plates are large so we each have some for lunch tomorrow. If you are looking for good Mexican food and great service this is the place. We took our time having dinner. Oh yea. No mask.
