At checkout they said the total was $96 including tax for our family’s take out order. They handed me a receipt for over $99. I asked if they included a tip for a take out order as I was leaving a tip for when I noticed the total was higher. They informed me they added almost $4 for a credit card surcharge. I have paid surcharges at other places for small totals (less than $20), but for $96 of food?? There was no sign saying they charged more for using cards and no notice at the register. The prices have already went up why wouldn’t the cost of doing business be added at that time. The way it was handled was very shady at the very least! You have to give your customers a chance to pay cash if you are charging more for using a card. Not hide it on a receipt after the fact! My $100 will have to go elsewhere. Otherwise the food was okay, so why alienate your paying customers at the register!

Worse experience I’ve had since these new owners! Waitress gets my order wrong, then she comes and brings us our food leaning over our food. Touching her face which is unsanitary! Then begin to touch more stuff. Then you have the guy over cleaning a table and slings food towards your food. That’s so nasty! Then the waitress never came back to refill our drinks. I will not be coming back paying almost 40 bucks for poor service!

Food not that great. Forgetting items. Cheese is like water. Hamburger was like watered down too. Another group came before us and didn’t get their food till after we finished ours.

Came here for dinner with friends while visiting NW Arkansas at there recommendation. Restaurant was clean with nice, basic type atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly, spoke English and Spanish and was very attentive, and checked on us several times during our visit… I had sweet tea which was a little too sweet for me…..Complimentary Salsa and chips were served. They have a HOT version and mild version. Both were good….One of our friends poured some of the Hot salsa in a bowl of mild salsa which did tone down the heat of the Hot salsa. It was good also. Chips were very good and warm when served. We also had some guacamole as an appetizer, but to me the guacamole had a strange taste to it. The others liked it. I had one of the combination platters which had spanish rice, and 2 enchiladas- choice of beef or chicken, 1 taco. I had beef enchiladas. 1 beef taco was also part of the platter and was good, but not the best I’ve had… I also added a beef tamale, a bean chalupa to the platter. The enchiladas were good, had cheese sauce served on top. The tamale was very good, tasted like my wife’s homemade tamales. Chalupa was good. The refried beans were excellent !!!! Generous portions were served us and 3 of our group had to get togo boxes. I personally would give the food a 3.5-4, the others gave it a rating of 4 or better…. Our waitress was excellent and she definitely rates a 5…. Atmosphere 3-4 rating…. Would I eat another meal here? Yes….. Would I recommend this restaurant ? Yes…..

The food is better than it use to be but HOLY COW… the prices have gone up a lot. My husband and I took our daughter last week. For three meals and one paid drink (two were waters), the total was $50 before tip. To me it’s crazy for it to be that high when we eat at various other Mexican restaurants and our bill is in the $35 range.

Never had a cocktail here before, the taste was very sweet as if soda was added to it. Also my steak tacos for takeout, they didn’t add cilantro and onions to it. It was just plain. They also forgot to pack the hot sauce with it. Very disappointed since this was the only Mexican restaurant near me.

I was glad to see their dining room opened! For any who may be unnecessarily concerned, they we’re practicing all the social distancing guidelines. Delicious Salsa and Speedy Service were the highlights of the trip. This place is right across from the Wooden Spoon Restaurant in case your in the mood for Mexican food.

Fodd was ok and all but I’m a little irritated because I found out they started charge a 75 cent service charge just for servicing you. I hate to be that guy but that’s kind of crappie of them

Food tastes the same as always, portions seem smaller and prices are higher. Used to cost about $10 per person, now it costs about $25 per person. Exactly the same thing we have always ordered for years. Now instead of $40 for 4 people, it costs $100.
