I don’t like to give 1 star but I always give 2nd chances sorry but waaayyy over priced I ordered a burrito with Carne asada it was all over salted beans was 3 bites half the size of a regular water bottle had no meat not one piece! And to boot it was 9 dollars NO TY! I get you have to make over head hence the prices but don’t skimp on quality of your food would not return

Don’t buy this food, we ordered 4 plates, quesa tacos and mojarra, was full of fat cold and over cooked, the cecina and the pozole was HORRIBLE, we call for ask about the fodd and they told me that is the way they make the plates!!! The pozole had like 1oz of meat , DISAPOINTED we just waste a lot of money, save your poket for a better place please

It’s a shame that this place gets such bad reviews. Typically I might let that go because I want my favorite places to not get over crowded, but this place deserves the business.

Nestled in the vibrant city of Denver, La Hoya Mexican Food stands as a true gem for food lovers seeking an authentic Mexican culinary adventure. As a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine, I recently had the pleasure of indulging in their delectable platillos, and it was a fiesta of flavors that left me utterly impressed.

Everything is made fresh and you taste it! Amazing food, great service and honestly some of the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time. Tortillas, gorditas all made by hand. Left extremely happy and will be coming back soon!

Bit pricey for not a lot of flavor. Dessert was good

I order the Quesatacos through Uber eats. Very yummy ! The consome it comes with for dipping is really tasty too ! More than enough of it to save for later. A little bit pricey in my opinion for 3 street sized tacos ($15) but the ingredients tasted fresh and everything was cooked well! I’d definitely recommend !

This place is very bad. I went for lunch I ordered mole and when I tasted it, it had a really bad taste and sour like the food was spoiled. I asked the lady in the kitchen if she changed it for another thing she gave me a nasty attitude , she was very rude she yelled like insane person. I asked to speak with the owner and they denied my request.

Just disgusting a complete waste of money how can authentic Mexican restaurant can’t even get a smothered burrito right my tortilla is soggy I don’t like my steak is burnt taste very bland literally no season them at all like I say a complete waste of time and money I suggest you go somewhere else for your Mexican food Just disgusting!!!!!!!!!!

Tacos were bland, basic, and light. They don’t do your typical birria taco as it all comes as regular street taco style, so not red, fried, or any consome. The chimichanga was decent. Menudo and pozole were meh OK. Rice and beans were bland. Quesadilla was not your usual style but was not bad. Overall, I would recommend coming back if I lived walking distance to this place and didn’t have transportation to go elsewhere nor have the ingredients to cook it myself.
