Probably the best authentic Mexican food we’ve had… and we eat Mexican a lot. Being from out of state, that says a lot. Service, food and the HUGE large margarita was beyond expectations. If your in that area, do yourself a favor and stop in for the experience. On a side note, the large margarita isn’t a large, it’s like a jug! Fantastic experience over all. Your welcome in advance. I’d rate it a 3.5 because of the great service. The staff was really friendly and caring. The food was okay. It was just okay. It will definitely satisfy your cravings but taste was very mediocre. The ambience is good, the drinks menu is huge , so is the food menu.

Staff was attentive and friendly. We were seated right away and given great chips and salsa. Margarita on the rocks was delicious. They had something on the menu for everyone. They had many veggie options and I highly recommend the veggies nachos! So good.

Nice patio but food is pretty bland. Chips needed salt. Salsa was tasteless. Steak fajitas were underwhelming, steak was cut too thin and no seasoning. Beer was also warm.

I don’t know if the owners care about these reviews but here it goes. I’ve bartended for decades, the margarita tasted like well water. I had to ask for sides of sour mix. Even then I had 3 sips and just could not drink it. It was huge though, such a waste. The food is not even mediocre. We all tried each others food and there was not one single thing that any of us enjoyed. There’s not an ice cubes chance in Hawaii that the 3 star reviews or above either A, had the same chef or B, they have changed the way they make things. Hands down the worst Mexican food I have ever tasted. My husband is still talking about it the next day. On a positive note there were two servers and they were both very polite and prompt. To the owners…. you have to fix your food or the restaurant will remain a ghost town. Willing to come back and give it another try if you do.

There’s nothing bad I can say about this place in my opinion. The food tasted great, the service was good and fast, and the food was hot. I think the prices are a little high or maybe beans and rice could be added to a few of the dishes like my authentic tacos dinner cause for my wife and I 2 entrees a beer and 2 sides cost around 45$ where many other taquerias or Mexican restaurants you can find much cheaper however that would be my only negative aspect about la herradura. I will definitely be back and would recommend you try it if you’re looking for great Mexican food.
