I occasionally work in this area but most in the mornings. I had not been hungry when going through. Luckily, after another appointment changed I happened to be hungry in Chapman KS.

Just stopped in while meeting someone and wanted to try the aqua frescas. The lady was so nice and was willing to share the flavor choices with me as I had no idea what I was ordering. Then my husband who usually orders from the food truck in jc was excited to see the tamales on the menu. He took 1 bite and was sold forever. They tasted so fresh and the flavor was on point. Can not wait to return again and sit and have a meal with the whole family.

I tried this place for the first time and overall, it was decent for Mexican food. My family and I were promptly greeted, sat, drink orders taken, tostadas (tortilla chips) and salsa served, then order taken. The food came out rather quick. I ordered the tamales combo with rice and beans. The rice and beans were great. The tamales had good flavor and were a decent size, however, they were quite dry.

My wife and I went a couple times when they first opened in spring 2019 and the service was really slow as they were still trying to get their bearings. But ever since then, the service has been much better. All the food I’ve had there is excellent – smothered burrito, carne asada, enchiladas suizas, etc. The salsa and the hot sauce are homemade. I also love that they serve real-sugar Mexican pop in glass bottles – tastes much better than American pop. Margaritas are also very good. Great place to eat.

The birria pizza was horrible. The tortillas were not cooked well if at all, they were gummy and chewy, way to much cheese and barely any meat..it was like eating lasagna soup..we will stick with La Hacienda on wheels better than the restaurant…

If you order take out this is your spot. We watched multiple orders being picked up as we sat in the dining room waiting over an hour for our food. We had a time deadline and had to ask the waitress multiple times when our food would arrive. When it did we had to box it up to eat after our next appointment. It seems that take out orders take priority over in house service. It will be quite awhile before we return.

food was excellent…. when it finally arrived, almost an hour after ordering. it appeared that takeout orders had priority as a number of takeout orders were picked up during the time we waited.

Good food and nice staff. I recommend the smothered burrito! My only complaint is sometimes the chicken is overdone, but that’s better than food poisoning so I’ll take it. 🙂 Love their specials and margaritas.

Great food, great service. Pulled off the interstate to wait out the rain, hail, and tornadoes. Being from Socal, we figured we’d give it a try. Good margaritas too.

Surprised to see a taqueria In the middle of nowhere during our long drive! We are grateful that the owner let us dine in with our cat in his carrier. It was the best experience to have good food and taking a break on our almost 3 hour drive for a late lunch. Serving was humongous and very refreshing Jamaica! Gracias!
