Drove all the way to Oakland from Lodi just to eat at this spot that says everything about this place. The quesa birrias are bomb and the al pastor tacos are in the top 4 I’ve ever had oh and the top romen birriais definitely a game changer. If you haven’t tried The Grana Fish you haven’t had good food!

The food was so good. Our family swung by before an A’s game, it’s a perfect location to hop on Bart from Fruitvale, and we were floored by how good it was.

Authentic as hell. Amazing quesabirria and fully loaded shrimp baked potatoes. Food truck inside the door of a warehouse building. Parking is crazy but not impossible. Green salsa is on point. Pretty inexpensive and will leave you satisfied at your decision to make the trek over. Be aware of swap meet days where the traffic can make this crazy busy.

Some of the best quesabirrias I’ve ever had with quick friendly service only complaint is that the consomé which is essential while eating them is an extra $4 which seems a little greedy considering the tacos themselves are already $5 each

If you ask the staff recommendations, they’ll tell you shrimp and fish tacos. And they are correct. More pricey than other tacos but worth it. Thick crispy batter surrounding both. Something about the shrimp that has a slight edge over fish IMO. It’s crisp and also cooked just enough to keep the juices exploding while biting into it. I’ve ordered this at least 7 different occasions, all same level of quality. Served with pico de Gallo, grilled jalapeno, and hot sauce. Recently they added a huge range of hot sauces. This summer they also had agua frescas in pineapple and passion fruit, not from concentrate. Grab a beer from aloha club at happy hour after work and it’s a great way to end the day at the longest bar in Oakland.

I used to take my friend to the taco trucks in Oakland for lunch. These were the days before there were Off the Grid and trucks selling baos, lumpias, and poke! He thought I was crazy for eating at a ghetto “roach coach”. ” Que quieres Chino?” was muttered when I stepped up to the truck to order. I would order a Cabeza (head) taco, Lengua (tongue) taco, and a carne asada taco- all for 1 dollar each! Awww…sweet memories.

Over priced quesabirria tacos. Overpriced Consome and the chips and salsa cost $7.00!!! Chips were the round tortilla chips, definitely store bought and transferred to a brown paper bag. Stick with taqueria Guadalajara across the street.

Ordered Tapatio Combo, Quesabirria, torta, consommé, etc. The first time when I came here was so perfect but then the second and the third time, the food was way too SALTY. Consommé was unbelievably salty I will go back one last time though and see if I decide to come back ever or not.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. There’s a little bar right next door for a beer or something while you wait for your food. I ate too much and I’m going back ASAP.
