Stopped here when we were on a road trip. It’s located in a cute downtown like area. Lots of locals were there, which we took as a good sign. It was Friday night around 6:30 & waited about 10min. Food was good, we had tacos and fajitas. The fajitas had two large tortillas and we are used to 3-4 small ones. The tacos were crispy and I think homemade. The only negative is the corn tortillas were too thin and fell apart. Overall a nice place to stop especially since we had never been to the area before.

Really delicious food we ate. I got combination burrito, if you like beans beef and cheese its totally for you. Great flavor. My hubby got chile rellenos empanizados and he said they were delicious and spicy. I got a baby bowl for my son which was great size for him it had rice beef and beans he liked it. I also got mac and cheese with fries plate for my daughter. They were perfect. Service and atmosphere was great too!!!

Our family really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The Service was very good, as well. We had a slight wait, as it was very busy, but worth it. There was seven of us in our party, and everyone enjoyed the food and experience, with no complaints. My family definitely recommends LaFonda restaurant.

I had high hopes stopping here to eat since there were a lot of patrons waiting to get in. The queso didn’t look anywhere near like it was as advertised nor did it even taste like queso. The stuffed sopapillas, well, let’s just say is something that resembles a sopapillas with the buffet beans and meat on top of them. Definitely one of the worst examples of this dish I’ve had. The buffet is pretty much typical buffet style food, bland and without any flavor to stand out from much better options for Mexican food in the area. All in all, will be a first and last time for me. On a good note though the staff is attentive and the service is good.

The service is always fantastic here. I got the beef fajitas, and there was a lot of meat, which I appreciate. Nice and tender, too. Others in my party got the stuffed sopapillas and the taco salad. All the food was good.
