I came here expecting Mexican or Spanish food because of the title, but I saw the menu and it seemed to be more like a Portuguese restaurant. Moving past the confusing name, there was a special, the waitress told me that the filet mignon was highly praised by other customers. She was right and the filet mignon that was absolutely amazing. The burnese(probably didn’t spell that right) on top of the dish was incredible, pairing with everything on the plate beautifully. For dessert, they had a bread pudding, which is a thing that not many restaurants would have on their menu. It was probably some of the best bread pudding I have ever eaten, with the warm texture contrasting the cold ice cream on top perfectly. I will most likely find myself coming here again in the future.

Red sauce items were the best. 2 in our party of 4 had white sauce items not great. Clams and pasta disappointing. 8 clams on top of white sauce pasta. No clams in the pasta.

We went to la familia thinking the dining was a white cloth table top experience. Evidently they weren’t seating anyone in that area that evening. There are two other section of the restaurant, a pub-like environment and a bar seating. Needless to say, google picture/reviews failed us.

June 10,2023. Last night was our first time going to lafamilia and it was amazing from the beginning to the end. We started by checking in for a table and was sat immediately,our waitress Ronnie was over as soon as we got to the table to take our drink orders as the bus boy brought us warm bread,our meals were delicious my daughter had the chicken parm and I had the veal. The service was the very best I have had in years (as we all know service hasn’t been the same since Covid) but it was top notch. And even a stop over to the table from the manager to see how our father Daughter date was going. Looking forward to going back real soon.

The food is not as good as i would expect and the atmosphere has not changed much from the previous Good Times Pub which I enjoyed. Other townies do enjoy it, so I wouldn’t discourage others from going. I enjoy the bar more then the restaurant.
