I was in Newton NJ for work for a few months, about twice a wk, and this place opened within the last month and a half of my work in Newton, so I didnt get a chance to try much from their menu. However, I was surprised at the amount of options on their menu when they 1st opened, but I fell in love with their chicken brushetta wrap! It includes a side salad, the meal is within budget, and I like how they put it in a round aluminum plate for take out (and not like styrofoam plate) The brushetta is very tasty! I’m in Aberdeen NJ now and this Italian spot I go to sells chicken brushetta wrap but their brushetta is a little dry and not as good as the way La Famiglia makes it! So I definitly miss this lunch from Newton. I always ordered in advance over the phone and ordered to go so I didnt get to experience the waitering staff but when I would go pick up my order, the staff was always nice. They accept cash or credit. One time, the cashier gave me incorrect change back and I happened not to notice. (She owed me more than what she gave me) My job was across the street, and she called me apologizing for giving incorrect change and offered to come to my job to give me the correct change! I was like wow, I appreciate your honesty. May God bless you but no worries. I’ll just walk over to get it so I can get a little more vitamin D! I hope they always have honest employees like her.

What that dude Kris said is completely untrue. I have been there several times and Kaitlyn is a great server. I have also never seen track marks on her nor have I ever sensed that she was intoxicated in any way. He sounds like someone who is mad and out to hurt this nice young womens reputation as well as the reputation of this great restaurant. Some people should feel ashamed of themselves. Keep up the excellent work Kaitlyn and never let others get you down!

BYOB, an advantage in my book. Generous portions, good food, definitely fair prices. Atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, and soups only so_so. But I have gone back several times and will go again.

We had 6pm reservations before The Lord’s of 52nd Street show. Ordered our food soup and appetizers. The appetizers took well over an hour to get, they were cold when we got them. We had to ask repeatedly for our soup. The waitress never offered to refill our water, if it weren’t for my ice melting I wouldn’t have had anymore to drink. After waiting nearly 2 hours our food arrived had to rush to eat so we could make it to the show. People that came in before and after us were walking out without eating dinner. TERRIBLE! Never again!
