Stopped here on our road trip because it has 4.5 stars. Food was fresh but average. Service very good our waitress was very sweet. The restaurant itself is in a little strip plaza but is clean and well kept.

The food here does not disappoint. This is the only place that has refried beans that reminds my wife of her childhood, the best hands down. I had the Camarones mojo de ajo with fresh homemade corn tortillas. My wife had two crispy tacos. One chicken and one Shredded beef.

Food and service was excellent. Husband got fajitas loaded with steak, peppers, onions, and tomatoes. I got the Taco salad which was wonderful. I couldn’t come close to finishing it as it was big enough for 3 along with the chips. Chips were thicker than I like (almost like a cracker) but salsa and hot green dip were both great; also very fresh guac. Tabletops were nice, glass over colorful cloth that cleans up well (versus gummy wood). Seats need to be repaired as they were in very bad shape but otherwise a positive experience. Didn’t use bathroom. Everything appeared clean. Would recommend.

Really good food. When I went there maybe 4 or 5 tables were taken and most of them already had their food. It took a long time for the server to come and take our order even though they were not busy.

It’s OK. I ordered the Super Burrito because I love it fully loaded. However they gave me a teaspoon of guacamole which you can clearly see was not fresh (looked old). The inside didnt have no guac at all. I also tried their hibiscus water and that was very refreshing, love it! The restaurant Is tucked in a small plaza, the parking was not the best, very tight. The inside of restaurant is pretty spacious for large groups, also has outside dining. The staff was friendly. Honestly I probably won’t come here again, The food didn’t taste authentic. Oh, yea! I Forgot to mention the outside sign is Super faded that you can hardly read the business name.

I normally don’t leave reviews but this has been my go to place for about 8 years now but lately I would say the last year and half at least the service has went down hill. Today I went and grabbed a one combo lunch with a side taco and it cost 21.49!!! I was kinda shocked but in a rush to get back to work but kept thinking throughout the day how that was an expensive lunch. So I look at my receipt and it has 12.00 for my combo , 3.75 for my taco with cheese and 4.00 for cheese ?!?. I was confused so I called and the lady who answered couldn’t tell me why I was charged 4.00 for cheese. I asked her if it was the side of cheese for my taco she said I don’t know I guess.. I said so you’re telling me my taco was 3.75 and the speck of cheese you put on was 4.00 she said I guess I don’t know. Ridiculous!!!!!! And when I initially went In today I just brought a 20.00 not expecting it to be over 20 only to have to turn around and go get more money out of my car and the lady you collected my money said in a snappy way I said 21.35 and they were in the wrong they overcharged me. It’s sad I use to love this place but now it’s just not welcoming anymore.

It’s a cool spot to eat. The food was pretty good. It wasn’t the best I ever had but it was a 4 out of 5 for sure. The horchata was one of the best I ever had though, so that’s a plus. Order the horchata for sure.

The food was very good. Which I was happy with because it’s hard to find authentic Mexican restaurants with how saturated the business is now and days. I loved my food and so did everyone else with me. The 2 star review comes from the service provided to us by our waitress (short hair with blonde tips and glasses). Either she was new or just didn’t care to do her job properly. My dad asked for a caldo de camarón and upon arrival she didn’t offer any salsa or cilantro and onion for it. When we asked her about it she said “I didn’t bring it?” We said no and all she said was “oh”. I sat down assuming that meant she would bring it out and she did eventually but she definitely took her time with it. We had also asked her for extra salsa for our chips and she forgot to bring out and when I got up to ask about it she gave me attitude and told me to take a seat and to give her minute, mind you we were the only people there and all she was doing was standing behind the counter. When she came to give us the salsa my dad asked for another round of his michelada and she just looked at him then walked away didn’t say “ok one moment” or anything along those lines. On top of everything else she never once came to check on how we were doing. I was really disappointed considering I was genuinely enjoying the food. If you’re just looking for good food and don’t care about the service I would totally recommend this place otherwise I’m sure you can find a better place where they have better employee values.

Foods okay, my husband got chicken fajita and the chicken was dry. I ordered quesabirria but got flour quesadilla, when it arrived incorrect, I explained I ordered quesabirria and I need corn tortillas can’t eat flour, allergy. 25 minutes later they bring me a quesadilla made with corn tortillas. I have up and ate but ended up super sick later that night. I think they used the same plate and just swapped the quesadilla. I’ll never eat there again but my dad likes their giant burritos so I have three stars instead of one.

La Doña is a go to for our family for the past 8+ years. We even had our wedding rehearsal dinner there with Kareoke. The food and staff are wonderful.
