We love this restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the staff is very friendly, and the food is great. Not my first choice for a place to take the kids, but my husband and I love it on date nights. The only downside is the price. We easily spend $100 or more on dinner (and a bottle of wine). So we don’t go as often as we would like, but worth it on the rare night out without children.

Great food and fun atmosphere. A real gem in the Castle Pines area. Food and service were very good. Prices are a bit high in my opinion. Garlic knots are very tasty. I would recommend, especially if you have a coupon.

Went here on my birthday as a recommendation from my lady’s co-worker. Great ambiance, server brought stellar positive attitude and personality to the table. Singer looked as if she was lip-syncing. Ordered the Pork Tuscany and it was truly amazing, which is key for a pork snob like myself. So tender, it fell straight off the bone. Would like to see the bathrooms done to match the rest of the restaurant though, they are too bland.

My friend took me here for my birthday dinner. I had THE BEST time! The food was delicious, their signature pineapple martini was perfect (not too sweet, and perfectly strong), and the restaurant ambiance was cozy and very much like being in a romantic village in Italy. I would have to say the ABSOLUTE BEST PART of the entire experience was Sam!! Sam was our waiter and he made me feel more special than I have ever felt at a restaurant. He went above & beyond to take EXCELLENT care of us. He sang to us throughout the night, made sure we had anything and everything we needed, and he brought me the MOST DELICIOUS chocolate cake for birthday dessert! If I ever opened a restaurant, I would want Sam to run it! What a beautiful and special soul.

Under new ownership. The food was good, but service was terrible. We had a reservation and were seated right away, which was a good thing. We weren’t acknowledged by the waiter until about 5 minutes of sitting there. About 5 minutes later they came back to tell us that they would be back to take our drink order but would get us some water right away. We waited for 10 minutes or so and tried to get the attention of the waiter several times as we were still waiting for water. After sitting there for about 25 minutes with nothing, I had to go to the bar to get water.

Pino’s, formerly La Dolce Vita, is great! Most recently, I had the chicken Parmesan and they were able to prepare it Gluten Free. The owner was very present and ensured we had a great meal.

Ordered and a waiter tried to bring my wife’s meal before the salad. My wife turned it away saying there must be a mistake. Our salads showed up. Before we could finish even half of our salads the entrees arrived. My wife’s meal looked to be the meal they tried to serve earlier, it was cold and obviously not freshly made. The other two meals were good. When asked how everything was, my wife explained what had happened and why she had barely touched her meal. Manager came. She explained again. Manager, “Nate”‘ loudly explained his desire to do right by us and he would comp the meal and salads. He also offered us a complimentary dessert. We thanked him and said we would take a single piece of cheesecake for the table. Nate, took over serving our table. He brought us half a slice of cheesecake that he basically flung onto the table with three forks before hurrying away. We could tell it was small since we could see the full size pieces being served to the other patrons. At one point I also had to endure hearing our previous server explain what had happened to the table next to us in hushed tones. In short, there was a mistake, they almost did the right thing but ruined it by making an embarrassing spectacle of the situation and delivering a small dessert because it was comp’d.

Pino is the best and love the new pizza! Legit New York style perfection! Staff is friendly and great for happy hour or dinner. So glad to have it and think it’s a big improvement under new ownership. Pino is also a 9-11 first responder, so it feels good to support a hero.

New Owner… New Menu ! The Eggplant Rollatini is the best I have ever had since I have lived in this state of Colorado for 21 years. Joe, the new owner has a deep love for his recently past father who once owned a restaurant on Long Island and Joe is passionately sharing the recipes. Thanks Joe… looking forward to trying everything on the New Menu!

This place is a favorite. Great authentic Italian food, superb service and reasonable prices. We love being greeted by Sam, wish they would open a location in Highlands Ranch, but it is worth the drive!
