This was a wonderful surprise. Everything was wonderful and be warned…the portions are huge! Freshly fried hot tortilla chips with salsa and warm refried beans arrived almost immediately. I ordered the Camarones Costa Azul ($14.29), large deep-fried shrimp, wrapped in bacon and served over a mixture of sautéed onions and peppers, and topped with melted Monterrey Jack cheese. The shrimp were tender, smoky and so very delicious. But, there’s more…Mexican rice, refried beans, sour cream & a scoop of guacamole and 3 flour tortillas. The service was fast and pleasant. If you find yourself in Crossville TN, La Costa is a great option!

Incredibly varied menu. I had the La Costa burrito with chicken and found it to be very tasty and quite a good value. I would have been happier with a bit spicier salsa but what was served was fine. The chips were nice and hot and the service was excellent.

Great food and great prices. Enchiladas Suizas… chicken chimichanga with cheese sauce and Mole Enchiladas (sweet and roasted chocolate sauce) it was all good.

We’ve tried every Mexican restaurant in the area that has vegetarian beans, which most do, and this is the best. They have friendly service, the food is delicious and we enjoyed our food and time again today. Thank you La Costa!

Delicious food, great prices, lots to choose from and fast service. I can’t believe it took us so long to try this place. Excellent chips, salsa and bean dip with your meal. Chicken taquitoes are fantastic… Get an order of queso to go with them for a special treat! The guacamole, queso, cheese enchiladas, chicken enchiladas, and ground beef tacos were all delicious. The Mexican rice and refried beans are good, too! The only thing I wouldn’t do again is tostada but only because I felt it wasn’t crispy enough in parts, but it still had good flavor and it may have gotten wet from some other things on the plate before I got to it. The fried ice cream is the best around here; it’s going to be very hard not to get it every time!

After reading reviews, we settled on La Costa. We were not disappointed. Great service. Our server was helpful and cheerful. Nice, warm chips plus bean dip (we haven’t come across this served with chips before here) as well as a mild salsa for my husband. I can’t eat salsa so it was nice to have an alternative. Big servings as indicated in other reviews. I couldn’t eat all of my shrimp salad. Since we are traveling, I couldn’t take the rest with me. Enough for two people, if you can agree on a menu item. We would definitely come back again if we are ever in the area again.

Spent $29.30 for two adults and two 9-year old boys, including drinks, and no one left hungry. Service was very friendly (although a little slow but they were somewhat busy so they get a pass on that this time), food was fresh and the tastiest Mexican I have had since moving to Crossville from out of state several months ago. They serve complimentary chips, salsa, AND bean dip. And their salsa has fresh onions AND cilantro. Lots of flavor and major bonus points!

My wife and I come here all the time. The staff and owner are so nice and friendly. The food is delicious. Last night the owner noticed that the chicken i had for my fajitas was lighter than normal so he brought out more chicken himself to me. I mean hands down best mexican food around. If i could give more stars I would. Great place!

Stopped in once on a whim and now it is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The salsa is hands down the best of any restaurant in the area. The prices are good and the portions are huge. We usually end up with food to take home.

First time for us, and it won’t be the last. The food, atmosphere, and service were great. Large portions, people laughing and having a good time. We stopped in around lunchtime, and it was busy, and that’s a good sign.
