Wow…great food. Food and presentation well thought out. Carne Asada, served with fresh made chips, pico de gallo and guacamole, as well as what seemed to be a freshly made red salsa and salsa verde. Extra steamed corn tortillas….earned bonus points! Very tasty. You should eat here. Glad I did. Will be back next time I’m in town.

What a great place! Breakfast menu ends at 1pm, but that’s ok, they have quite an impressive menu, and they give you such colossal amounts of food! Look how big this chorizo burrito is! Churros are awesome! Coffee, soda, tacos, this place offers so much. Friendly people, fast service, good food, recommended. Do yourself a favor, cancel your lunch plans and come to La Cocina on the corner of Broad and Dickinson instead.

Okay so I’m not going to lie, I was a little impatient about waiting for this sandwich. I just popped in this cute, unassuming corner joint to get my husband something quick for lunch. Or so I thought. It felt like I was sitting there, the only customer, on a wobbly stool, waiting for this takeout for an eternity. I’ve had a fair number of tortas in my time, and it seems like they always take like 5 or less mins to slap together before I’m on my way. This torta took a full TWENTY minutes to make. However, after walking home (somewhat grumpy) and trying a bite of this thing I immediately determined that I am not at all mad about waiting for this. It was fully 100% well worth it, and I will be back — I’ll just call ahead next time.
