Got two tortas de Milanesa de pollo and we couldn’t even pick it up. You can tell they poured the chicken onto the bread and well obviously the bread was soaked in oil. The French fries were undercooked and quite cold. We live up the block and it’s hit or miss with the bread. Either burnt or soggy but this oil party was news to us. The fries are always consistently raw.

I’ve tried to give benefit of doubt. The owner is an amazing cook but everyone else is subpar (I have heard this same opinion from more than one friend). This torta is literally falling apart in my hand and the bread is soggy. It is also clearly undercooked. Unacceptable. I don’t ever leave reviews and understand food/customer service is a difficult job but come on man

I lived in South Texas for 20 years and loved the Tex-Mex cooking. I judge all Mexican food compared to the stuff I ate along the border and this little hole in the wall place rates right up there! Good value for the money! Been back a few times and my Vegan wife loves the avocado torta, no mayo or cheese, extra tomato and avocado.
