Decided to try this place based on reviews..they were out of tamales, out of tortas. I had the pastor tacos and honestly it was very bland..they were much bigger than another taco place I frequent. The service was great, the waiter was the only reason it got more stars. I hate having bad food. The gordita wasn’t edible and just ate the bland pastor off it.

The food was really good, I especially liked that they have options with house-made tortillas. Very fresh & delicious. The salsa was bland (probably for the gringos) but the hot sauce made up for it. We will definitely come back!

Best burrito ever? It’s top 3 for me for sure. It’s crazy good and just a basic chicken burrito. Inexpensive too. I keep saying I’ll try something different but I just can’t do it. “Next time I’ll try something else “.

La Charreria Taco House was soooo good. I tried their Carne Asada Gordita. They use homemade dough and it takes the Gordita to a whole new level. Also tried the guacamole and it was the best I think I’ve had anywhere. Super fresh tasting. And the chorizo con queso is also delicious, and was way more than we expected. We only ate about half and had some leftover to take home. Plus the service was great. We were walked through different things to try for our first time here and the gentleman that helped us was super attentive. I’m already looking forward to my next trip!

This place is the BOMB! Being from Chi-Town and frequenting the Little Village for authentic Mexican food, this place is right up there. I must say I have found my “Go to place” For great food, friendly environment and customer service come out. Eat in or carry out you won’t be disappointed.

Great service and super friendly staff. This place is small. Tables for 4 but they will combine tables and add chairs as needed. Food: chips are std chips you’d get at any mexican restaurant. Salsa was mild and fresh made daily. rice and beans were std stuff. beet taco excellent. great flavor and really good cheese on it. chicken enchilado was good and lots of chicken and there was lots of beef in taco. They also have homemade sauces. Green sauce had very good flavor and not hot. The red sauce was burning my throat and heating my head up. But my brother and his sons thought it was great. But they handle hot sauces better than me. I will absolutly go back and I’ve eaten at all the mexican places around greenwood over the past 20 years. This one is a step above and good prices.

We went in a bit late on a Saturday evening and they were more than eager to serve us. The first thing I noticed on the menu was that they had horchata – many Mexican places list it on their menus but don’t actually prep any. The availability and quality of the horchata is a barometer by which I judge these places; they did indeed have it available, and it was very good!

Hands down the best Mexican food experience anywhere around and it’s not even close. Cant believe I hadnt discovered it sooner. The chorizo quesadilla blew my mind and the guacamole set the bar for how guacamole is supposed to be made. Not to mention the staff was the friendliest I’ve ever experienced and helped explain different items on the menu. If I could leave 10 stars I would.

Great tacos! ¡Deliciosos! Friendly service and everything tasted great; we tried the asada, Al pastor, carnitas, pollo, and chorizo tacos and a chimichanga. The guacamole was really good also, we will definitely be back!

Very authentic flavors here! One of the best I have found in town. This is a mom-and-pop/family operation, and everything I have had here has been fantastic! I have enjoyed the quesadillas, chimichangas, and (authentic!!) tacos. Queso is amazing. They also have street food that I cannot wait to try!! I love supporting authentic places like this! The value for the price is A++! So friendly and they care about what they do!
