Tried it out and enjoyed my meal and experience. Had the quesadilla and the tacos. Horchata was tasty and the mango water was sweet. The server was very attentive and responsive. Really enjoyed having him. Place is small but spacious enough for a small group. Recommend.

I waited way too long to eat here. Their birria is out of this world! Tortillas are freshly made BY HAND and if you’re being ridiculous (like me) and are trying a keto or carnivore diet; they’ll go out of their way to help you out with that (cheese tortilla was awesome). Customer service is great. A delicious hidden gem. Must try! 10/10 would recommend.

I ordered a tostada bowl with pollo asada, yum. Ordered a chicharron taco (fresh tortillas) and burrito also yum… so very yum. In fact, my dad has Alzheimer’s so getting him to eat much can be tricky. He ate that burrito tho! I also ordered a horchata but I didn’t really care for it; not much flavor at all. Horchata isn’t exactly a deal breaker for me. I’d definitely go back for the food though.

This is exceptionally delicious food! From traditional Mexican to Tex Mex favorites, your palate will explode from the intensely fresh, spicy flavors. The salsa was loaded with citrus notes along with fresh Serrano Chile heat. And the prices made it all feel like you found a secret spot that you hope more people hear about!

Where do I begin? Do not sleep on this place!!! As the late great Mr. Foods would say, “Oh it’s so good “! I had the green chili verde pork, rice, beans. My friends had the shrimp tacos and the chicken burrito. The salsa was fire The service was A-1! Delicious authentic Mexican food

Came to eat lunch with a party of 11 the late afternoon of cinco de mayo. The tacos were great, I recommend getting the birria and carne asada tacos. You can pick 3 and it comes with beans and rice. As shown in the picture. Main reason why I gave 4/5 stars is because someone in our group is allergic to avocados and she mentioned it during her order but they still gave her avocados with her tacos, they kindly apologized after. Overall recommend this place, parking wont be an issue, the place can get packed so make sure to plan accordingly. They have latino music playing in the background. The service is great because they bring the food to your table.

La Chancla had the best Mexican food I’ve had in all of SoCal, hands down. Today I went in and was so suprised with the level of quality and flavor in the meat, and their homemade tortillas. The person who served us had a great attention to detail- they even kept the serving trays warm before serving. Quality of the food was 10/10, service was 10/10, and the music in the restaurant was 10/10. Definitely worth your time even if you’re just visiting Long Beach.

We were greeted immediately upon entering and experienced consistently great service throughout our visit. The birria con consome had incredible fluffy tortillas, and the chanclazos were crispy and came with tasty salsa. The combo is a full meal with beans and rice. The chips and salsa as appetizer are the right choice, and you won’t be disappointed with the salsa!! Good tunes as well!

Great little spot we found on the drive home from kayaking in Naples. Very friendly service! Everything sounded great. The carnitas and chili verde were good. My friend enjoyed a tostada bowl with the vegan veggie mix and really enjoyed it.

Found La Chancla originally on a food delivery app and we ordered three times within a week of finding it because it was so good! Today I went for the first time in person and it was even more amazing- I don’t eat meat but my mom said it was the best chicken taco she’s ever had in her life! The vegetarian options are great and the fresh handmade chips and tortillas really make this space even more special. We are so grateful this place exists and look forward to lots of future visits!
