I went to lunch with co-workers. They kept bragging about the homemade tortillas at La Cecina. We snacked on chips and salsa while we waited for the entrees. The salsa has a kick. I ordered the Fajitas de Pollo. The chicken was perfectly prepared, but the onions, peppers, tomatoes, and avocado enhanced the flavor of the fajita. The tortillas are the star of the show. I also tried the grilled thin steak and enchiladas.

My favorite part about coming to this place is the fresh made tortillas! Food has good seasoning and flavor. This time, I tried the mojarra al mojo de ajo. Unfortunately, it was a bit too crispy for my taste, but I will give it another try next time.

The food is always great.The service is always pretty fast. There are lots of options but my favorite is La Cecina Campesina. I suggest you pay cash. In one occasion we payed with card and were charged a different tables bill, we had to return for a refund.

Ate here on a Sunday with my family and we requested a big table. Got a table but stood there for 10minutes waiting on the table to be cleared. Finally got it cleared and cleaned.. ordered and got drinks appetizer came out pretty quickly. It took a while for our food to come out and the family that came before us left because there order took long coming out. I ordered my short ribs medium rare and got it well done. We all tried the different dishes we ordered and the food was good. The service was ok.. I think the eating experience here would be different on a week day.

This is probably one of the best Huevos Rancheros I’ve had with the Salsa de molcajete and tortilla echas a mano! Tostada de camarón was fresh! And the licuado de platano was delicious! Will definitely be coming back for breakfast and service was fast even doe it was packed!

1st time going on 6/24 worst food ever, quesadillas with chicken and carne asada we’re over cooked and meat was super greasy, we ordered several different campechanas, no flavor, micheladas NO ICE???? A carne asada dish, meat over cooked super dry, my father ordered a fish soup that looked like dirty water broth and it was warm and service was bad, bill was over $200 and if you use debit or credit card they will charge you a service fee of up to 4% of your total balance!!!! . NEVER!!! GOING BACK. Should of taken pictures of the food because it was garbage. Oh yes, parking is limited as I you have to park across the street and hope you don’t get towed.

First time he the place is small intimate restaurant. Great food. Awesome selection of drinks except Bud light. Live music. I had a seafood platter and it was good. Huge tasty portions. I would highly recommend this place. I’ll be coming back to try everything on the menu.

Took to long for food to be served to us. Waitress did not check on us we were very thirsty. Waitress also misunderstood our order and forced us to pay for the items that we did not order. We did not eat it but ordered again what we correctly wanted. So we paid for double meals. :/
