Cute Mexican spot in downtown Mount Vernon with daily specials, awesome cocktails and a solid tequila selection. They had some vegan options like veggie street tacos, and their whole pinto beans and rice are vegan.

Decided to give this place a try because of a good review in a magazine. It’s a little hole in the wall with a fun atmosphere, quality food, and very clean. Hubby and I shared 4 fresh made to order tacos. We had fish, chicken, steak, and steak with chorizo. Hubby loved them and thought they were super tasty. I liked them, but thought they were a bit dry. Also, they were soft shell corn, and I prefer hard shell. It was an adequate amount for lunch with the delicious fresh chips and salsa thrown in. We’ll definitely go back, but next time we’ll order a combo with rice and beans. Erik our waiter was outstanding. Very personable, helpful, and nice.

The tacos here are amazing. I love spicy food and the chicken habanero was so delicious and had a good amount of heat. They gave me a red dipping sauce as well that was hot and so good. My only regret was not getting more!

We drove through looking for a local place and boy o boy did we find a gem. The enchiladas and tacos and salsa were so fresh, so good I HIGHLY recommend you go. I don’t drink but the people seated next to me loved the margaritas. The food was cared for, my husband says and he is right

We had the Jalapeño and Pineapple margaritas, with the carne asada and the Barbacoa. Everything was super tasty. Barbacoa was flavorful and I will definitely get it again. The atmosphere was delightful. And thank you for being open Memorial Day!
